This small, typically Andalusian hotel is set in amongst the charming whitewashed villages of Cádiz province, surrounded by stunning landscape. Enjoy a break in the Andalusian countryside with a stay at the traditional El Almendral. Here you are able to make the most of the natural surroundings of hills and plains before cooling off in the hotel’s outdoor pool. You can also enjoy the fresh air with a game of tennis on the hotel’s court. The local village of Setenil is as famous for its inhabited caves as for its picturesque, hillside setting. For an interesting daytrip you can head to Ronda, just a 14 km journey away.

“Beautiful relaxing stay”
Loved the vibe, it just felt so flexing! The view was amazing! Our only regret was not staying longer!

Old school quaint, Spanish establishment. Need an adaptor for mobile phones and any other devices as no USB connections. Peaceful and quiet, blackout blinds. Good breakfast selection, lovely staff. English is limited but managed to get by. Perfect location for visiting Setinel de Bodegas without being in the middle of everything. Would definitely recommend.

“Second time to stay, and definitely not the last.”
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, it’s just a short walk into town. Parking is ample and the breakfast is good. Lovely quality white bedding and lovely fluffy white towels.

“Lovely and clean”
A very lovely hotel with clean and well-maintained rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. I would especially highlight the beautiful terrace, perfect for relaxing. Comfortable bed.

“Great value hotel in lovely location”
Very clean. Great location just outside the centre of Setenil so a pleasant walk into town. Staff were very friendly. Lovely little bar. Nice pool and gardens although it was too cool to swim in February.

“Wonderful to stay”
Wonderful hotel to stay, central, clean, a perfect breakfast. Staff is polite and helpful. Especially, try the hotel restaurant for a dinner, it is delicious. The best sea food soup, I've ever seen.
