Lovely little studio apartment overlooking the river and sunny street, comfortable bed and very clean.

The location was fantastic, the bed was super comfy and shower the highlight of the room. Once you get over the fact that the loo is in the same room, it is exceptional in every other way.

“Fantastic stay in a very unique and beautiful old town.”

The hotel room was in the old cave dwelling street in the town. We had fabulous views of the area. The room was comfortable and had a jacuzzi bath.

“It didn't happen, since no one was there to let us in, nor did they try to find us.”

Unfortunately, we weren't able to stay. Despite traveling there, leaving voice mails and emails with arrival times, no one ever got in touch with me/returned my messages or gave me instructions on how to access the property. After trying to find the place, trying to reach via VM or hearing back via email, we ended up having to drive several hours to another location.

This was one of the more unique places/town that my husband and I have stayed in! The location was very central to all of the main attractions/scenic spots in Setenil. The room was perfect for our evening there and had all the amenities that we needed. The room that we booked "Sombra" looks to be one of their newer room. We were surprised that the room has a little balcony overlooking one of the main streets. It made for fun people watching in the morning. The bed was nice and comfort, and I appreciated how clean everything was. The host provided us with some toiletry items for the high tech looking shower, and even had bottles of water and Cava for us! Those were wonderful little touches! Our host was also easy to get a hold of even after hours of our anticipated arrival time. We got in much later than expected but were able to reach the host by phone and got instructions on entering the room. FYI for those driving in: Be warned! Most of the streets are drivable but they are TINY and require skillful handling of the vehicle. There is few parking spots near the property so we were advised by locals to park at the main parking structure (Parking Martinez Astein) toward the base of the town. Overnight was 20 euros but very safe and secure. We left our bigger luggage in the car and packed a small duffel bag each. The walk up to the property was a slight easy climb, about 15 minutes walk.

Location is exceptional, views from the terrace are incredible. Very good bedroom with nothing of noise, quite a nice bathroom. In general, we didn't miss anything - the apartment had everything we needed.

It is located in a fabolous venue, we had a terrace overlooking the city. The apartment was well equipped.

We had to cut short our stay at this beautiful place due to a family bereavement however our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. The place was spotlessly clean and the location was facing the restaurants under the rocks .....perfect.
