Our stay was mixed. The reception staff did not feel very helpful or welcoming, and at times seemed more focused on their phones than assisting guests. We also felt pressured to continue with a booked trip despite extremely poor weather, which made the experience uncomfortable. The hot water was not adequate, and the system was not clearly explained to us, which made it inconvenient during our stay specially in the morning. The food was average. In my opinion, it would be better to keep the menu simple and focus on doing the basics well. However, the waiter was excellent—friendly, helpful, and attentive, which we really appreciated.

They never informed me that they were still building new units, if they had, we would have changed the venue.

The accommodation is ok with great views on the mountain. The dinner is very good and the service very friendly

“Stargazing, animal watching, nice dinners and views”

The lodge is a very nice place in the middle of the desert wilderness. Two things stood out well for me: stargazing and animal watching, both in the night. when they come to drink water at a water hole near my room. They serve very nice dinners. The lodge internal environment is very nice. The room has rustic and desert characters which is nice. Bed is very good.

Very chilled comfortable accommodation. Staff were very welcoming I liked the fact that they encouraged you to hang around at the swimming pool after checkout if it suited you. No sense of rushing you off the premises

“Beautiful intimate lodge”

Everything. The staff were amazing and the set course dinner was delicious. They put together a yummy breakfast pack for us as we were leaving early to go to Sossusvlei. Would definitely recommend staying here. Our only complaint was we didn’t get a chance to stay there longer.

Loved this lodge. Great chalets, great staff. Food very nicely presented. Loved the compact style and friendly atmosphere. Zebras came to visit one night 😀.

The beds were very comfortable. Rooms and facilities lovely. Catered for dietary needs very well. Highly recommend day tour - Tour guide Stanley was excellent and very knowledgeable.

The lodge offers a convenient location relative to Sossusvlei. The room is neat, and all the basic amenities are provided. With a bit of refining, the place has excellent potential.

Individual cottages facing the bush, very spacious and comfortable beds. The garden was lovely for a drink and dinner was delicious. We had a breakfast pack so we could make an early start for sossusvlei which was full of lovely goodies!
