“Quiet, tranquil and friendly stay”

It was a lot more remote than we had anticipated as the town looked a lot bigger on maps! Otherwise, we were extremely happy

“Perfect escape, one hour from Madrid”

The location is ideal for an overnight or weekend "escape" - only a one hour drive from Madrid, and you are on another planet. The pueblo is tiny and tranquil. There are many paths and hikes in the surrounding countryside. The owners of the posada are lovely, very personable and helpful. The on-site restaurant operates only on the weekends, so we did not get to try the food, but they did provide us with a very nice breakfast! We will definitely return on a weekend sometime, we hear the meals are homemade and amazing. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing place, well worth the price.

“Worth the extra miles it takes to get there”

The place is located in a tiny village less than an hour's drive from Madrid. When you drive there, you get a glimpse of the area around Spain's capital: lots of cows, horses, sheep and pastures. Our room was relatively small, but nice, with a view of the village and the surrounding countryside. Worth the money. I have to say that the restaurant is really remarkable (but you have to book in advance). The meat was just SPEC-TA-CU-LAR, the best entrecote I have had in the last decade... Worth the visit. And the staff is very nice. Consider this: we arrived with a cat (yes, we travel with a cat!). It was late, so we kept him in the restaurant rather than in our room, no questions asked. At one point, a couple with a dog, a big dog, came to see him, but the lady asked them to sit in another room as a favor to our cat.

arrived fairly late at night in torrential rain found the place to be very clean and comfortable, in an amazing spot, breathtaking views and oh so quiet unfortunately had to be back on the the road before breakfast so didn’t get to see our hosts, which was a shame, so thank you from two soggy bikers ps. anybody travelling by motorcycle, the road in and out is superb😀

Nacho was amazing! looked after us all night after we had broke down near Madrid! This place is exceptionally clean and great value for money.

typical one star hotel. no airconditioning. tiny bathroom. they only tell you after the reservation and when the free cancellation has expired that on Sunday’s the restaurant is closed and that there is nobody in the hotel. you pick up your key from a safe deposit box next to the front door. nearest available restaurant was 15km away. really disappointed…

it was very comfortable. Nobody there when I arrived in the evening so it was a self check in with a key safe. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. beautiful village location( don’t arrive in the dark! )
