“Great venue”
The staff were great, went out of there way to be helpful and talkative. The meal we had were very good and enjoyable. Many locals also used the bar and restaurant, which is always a good sign that it's good. Plenty of parking on site too. Would use again.

“A pleasant and comfortable stay.”
It’s like a home away from home. Inspite the Covid restrictions, the staff made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is very convenient, especially for people without a car, like us. It’s just across the street from the bus stop.

“Wonderful, homey stay at the Schelphoek”
These are trying times, all over the world. Despite that, the owners of the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It was a homey, comfortable and perfectly located. Also, we take our hat off for the fact that these wonderful people started this hotel last August! In Covid-times!!! They’re still learning, as they say themselves, but had they decided to not tell us this was a new establishment, we would not have noticed. They acted professionally and kindly, and the place looks top notch.
