Fabulous camp in an excellent location. All staff was very helpful, friendly and caring. Food was very tasty nad served in an atmospheric dining room. Room was comfortable, clean and with increadible views. We were givien a guide to take us for a safari and we had an absolutely fantastic day. In the morning we were welcomed by a group of elefants and a couple of giraffes passing by. We loved this camp and we woiuld highly recommend it

The world class staff! Whoever hired the team did an excellent job. The food was great! Our guide was exceptional. The wildlife in the Serengeti was incredible!

Staff is very welcoming, they prepared a cake as a surprise for a celebration. Food was also great considering how remote the place is. Experience of being in the middle of the park is an adventure (can hear lions from the tent)

The location is stunning right in the heart of the serengeti. We got a very warm welcome and a drink which was very refreshing after being in the jeep. The tents are fab really comfy and clean with everything you need. A great cosy bed. The food was first class lots of choice for dinner and lovely packed lunches. Breakfast was fab lots of fruit and Breads eggs and pancakes. The staff all worked really hard to make our stay memorable. They have a well stocked bar at reasonable prices and a lovely campfire for a chat after dinner. We would def recommend

“A magical luxury camp site in the heart of the Serengeti with lovely service”

I loved everything about this camp. Love how much detail was paid to every details. The restaurant tent was comfortable and friendly. The food was great. The communal tent was absolutely cozy and a great place to play games or read a book or just sit outside and watch nature in front of you. The tents were very comfortable. The shower and running water was exceptional.

The staff were incredible! We spent Christmas 2022 there and they made it feel very special with the extra touches, champagne and small Christmas tree gifts. Frank, Anton, Oscar and the rest of the team went out of the way to help us in whatever way they could. The chef cooked great meals and was very accommodating of our daughter who has an allergy to lactose. I can’t speak more highly of the staff. The accommodation for a family was wonderful. It had a central living room, with an en suite bathroom on either side. There were board games to play in the central lounge area. Just lovely! We did a self drive and enjoyed the freedom. We did get stuck in the mud once (rainy season), but one of the other vehicles quickly helped us out. We had the best time! Thank you Mawe!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel right at home and took care of our every need. Herds of elephants and water buffaloes pass by several times during our stay. Hyenas and lions around us. Truly amazing experience and the best Safari experience we‘ve ever had. Good food, quiet location.

“Fantastic place”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mawe camp. The location was good, surrounded by wild nature and animals. The staff was so helpful and kind, they made us feel very comfortable, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place!

This is an once in your lifetime experience. We loved staying in the camp for two nights. This is al about the location. Safari tents are nice and staff is friendly.
