Overview
Enjoy a rustic experience at The Shorea, which offers air-conditioned, wood villas with free Wi-Fi. Located in Kampung Orang Asli, Negeri Sembilan, it is surrounded by nature and features an outdoor pool. The Shorea is a 20-minute drive to Seremban Bus Terminal Station. Seremban town is approximately 9 km away. It takes a 1 hour drive to reach Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. Equipped with a private balcony, each villa offers forest views and an attached semi-outdoor bathroom with bathtub. Villas also include a TV, kitchen with stove, refrigerator and rice cooker. Guests can cook in the privacy of their own villa of go to the Shorea Dining Pavilion, where there is a common kitchen, oven and a selection of herbs like lemon grass, parsley, spring onions and rosemary. A personal chef and meals can also be arranged on request.

Hi, Overall, we had a pleasant one-night stay. The place is very peaceful, and we really enjoyed the beautiful view. The receptionist was especially kind and friendly, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We do have a few suggestions for improvement. The pool could use better cleaning, as it appeared a bit dirty during our visit. Additionally, it would be great to avoid construction activities on weekend, as it was not very convenient to use the pool while work was happening nearby. Cleanliness in general could be further improved. Also, finding Shorea was a bit challenging since it is quite tucked inside—perhaps a larger or clearer signboard would help guests locate it more easily. We also felt that the birthday decoration package (RM150) was not quite worth it, as it only included balloons and a wording balloon. Enhancing this package could provide better value for guests celebrating special occasions. On a positive note, we really appreciated how quickly your team responded to our calls and WhatsApp messages. It was also very convenient that we could use Grab to order food during our stay. That said, it was still an enjoyable and relaxing experience overall. Thank you.

“I had expected more for the price charged.”
The Shorea has been around for a number of years. With so many new homestays having popped up, the building is a little run down. The friendly staff made up for it. I also liked the fact that meals where served to the dining table in each room.
