I loved staying here. The staff are brilliant, from Alpha who manages the apartments, to Haddy on reception, and Abbie, Asia and all the rest of the domestic staff, I can't name them all. The security guys were great as well, always greeting you but never hassling. The place is noisy at night due to the bars and clubs in the area. GTS is next door, with live, and sometimes particularly loud, bands every night so be prepared for that. To be honest, after a couple of beers, it didn't really bother me that much but it can be quite loud. On the other hand, if you are there for the bars and the clubs then this really couldn't be better. The quality of accommodation is by far the best I've stayed in on any trip to The Gambia, and, as mentioned above, the staff are just great and can't do enough for you. Cleaning gets done every three days and is included in the booking price. Extra cleaning is possible for a charge and the girls do an excellent job. The management and front of house team are helpful, caring and professional. Wifi is ok but its The Gambia. I found other connections in the area, for example some of the restaurants a few yards up the road, had much better wifi. It is, again, included in the price, however, as is Netflix. I don't generally like staying in this area, I prefer the quiet village environment, but this has been a wonderful experience and one that I wouldn't hesitate from repeating. Def would stay again.
