Everyone was super friendly and lovely. It had a great vibe and atmosphere, and the quantity and quality of recommendations of activities to do around Seoul was incredible. Would stay here again.

Zzzip is one of the most welcoming hostels I’ve stayed at! Jina and Bryan make everyone feel at home and included, share tips about what to do/eat/drink every day and created the perfect environment for travellers to meet each other and hang out. Rooms were a bit small, but I’m not bothered as that’s not where I spend my time anyways. I’m always a bit skeptical about en-suite bathrooms, but the ones at Zzzip were great! As the sink, toilet and shower area were still separated inside the bathroom, making it easy to use for different people at the same time. They include a simple but filling breakfast with toast/cereal/egg/coffee as well, so you can start your day properly before heading out to explore.

Everything was done to create social cohesion, to make you feel at home and to help set rules for social hostel behavior. Julia and Bryan really make sure you always feel welcome and taken care of. The setup of the bunkbeds with a personal shelf, shared hanging space for 2 beds and a personal safe (bring your own lock) is really cozy and useful. Bathroom and toilet are seperate which is great for a shared room.

If you're looking for an exceptional hostel experience in Seoul, I can't imagine it getting much better than Zzzip Guesthouse. It's in an amazing location with food options all around, and close access to a train line to go wherever you want in the city. Above all else, the vibe of this place is immaculate. Bryan and Jina are truly exceptional hosts; I truly cannot overstate my appreciation for their kindness and willingness to share things to do and places to eat in Seoul, all with an authentic sense of care and investment. The people you meet here are also amazing. I truly loved my time getting to know people from all across the world in my stay at Zzzip, and my only regret is that we booked such a short amount of time at this incredible hostel.

Best hostel I've ever been to! Great for solo-travelers!

The facilities in the hostel were basic but were clean and well maintained. What made this hostel stand out however, were the people. The staff Bryan and Gina took care of us like we were their family, and the other guests in the hostel treated each other as such. Ive made friends and memories that will last me a lifetime, thank you ZZZIP!!!

The owners Jina and Bryan foster an incredibly friendly space, making Zzzip perfect for solo travellers looking to socialise or get local recommendations. Some people I met were even repeat guests which I quickly came to understand. I can't recommend this place more - and encourage booking early!

I don’t write reviews that often. But this hostel is special to me. Jina and Bryan (the owners) are absolutely incredible! They are so helpful and are always down to help you with anything. Planning a hair appointment? Done, talking with others in the hostel about wanting fried chicken? They would have a list with recommendations ready to go. I actually had a hard time saying goodbye to them, Jina felt like a mom to me. For sure go here when you’re looking to go to Seoul!

Good location near Hapjeong station and 10 mins walk from Hongdae area. Jinah was really friendly and had great recommendations for everything, the WhatsApp group also makes it easy to find fellow guests to hang out with

A really wonderful hostel, run by amazing people who are always ready to help and give you plenty of recommendations for your stay in Seoul. The dorm had all the amenities, was clean, and it was easy to socialize with other travelers. The location is also perfect: a quiet residential area just a few steps away from the lively Hongdae area and close to the subway station. I will definitely come back!
