everything were great. it has elevator which is a great upgrade from our previous place. the washing and drying are easy. we cook at the pantry everynight. things are great.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I had a deluxe room, there was enough space for one person, I even had two windows. Everything was clean, the ladies at the reception were super nice. Only in a hostel for foreigners would I expect the staff to speak more English. That's why I chose the hostel. Otherwise, who cares about noise or doesn't sleep well, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, even the flushing of the toilets. But I didn't have a problem with that, I would expect it. I recommend the hostel and I would definitely come back.

"Very strategic location and a comfortable stay. The toilet was also clean. However, it would be even better if the glass partition in the toilet area could provide more privacy, especially for guests travelling and sharing the room with friends. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Exceptional location and very friendly staff (they even send you a video and details on how to get there from the airport). Room was spacious for one person and everything is nearby. If you want to take the subway Myeongdong station is 3 mins away. You can even see Namsan tower from the street.

Everything was just great! The owner/manager Joon is very friendly and helpful. Ahead of time, she sent a video and directions (via bus 6001) for reaching the hotel and was always ready to answer queries. The hotel is in a great location. Nearby: subway station, market, shops, shopping center, cafes. It was always easy to get to and from the hotel. The kitchen on the B1 level is equipped with everything you need for dining and even cooking. Free laundry and dry cleaning is also a very convenient option. The room was compact, but it served its purpose for rest and sleep. All in all, we were extremely pleased that we chose Starria Hostel. We’d be happy to recommend this hostel to our friends and would definitely stay here again if we return to South Korea.

My stay here has been lovely, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The room was way bigger than i imagined and it was super clean and had everything that i could need! they provided towels, disposable slippers as well as rubber slippers for the shower, a toothbrush and thoothpaste and free wifi that worked perfectly. The staff was super lovely, kind and always available to help me also to figure out which airport bus was the best for me to go to the airport. There is the airport bus (you can buy the ticket in cash from the bus driver for 17.000 KRW or you can also tap the tmoney card for the same price) reeeeally close to the hostel, its a 3 mins walk from the property. The position is the best, it's literally 3 mins away on foot from the center of myeongdong, so it's always lively and there are loads of restaurants, night market and shops always open and despite this closeness to the center, the area is extremely quiet. The common areas are clean and there is the laundry available, as well as an hanbok experience, although i remebered about it on the morning of the departure and couldn't experience it. The street is beautiful with cute fairy lights with the namsan tower on the background, and it's filled with cafes and sovenir shops. They provide luggage storage: I stayed in another area in seoul and then moved to Busan and could leave my big luggage for 5 days at Starria while i was in Busan, so that i didn't have to bring it with me and could freely move with the smaller one to the other city; once I came back to seoul, my lauggage was there waiting for me to be moved to my room! I totally recommend staying there as the property is exceptional and the staff is helpful and kind! I will definitely come back as the value for money is insane!

Very nice front desk staff, free laundry room, hot water and a guest lounge to eat our bought ramen was perfect, the room is small and it was the smallest bathroom I ever experienced but it was functional and all worked well. We could weight the luggage in the lobby which was life saving !

All the staff are very friendly. The locations is super good. The room is clean and neat.

“VALUE FOR MONEY”

it's a hostel. Don't expect too much. This hostel is quite pricey but overall is better than any hostel near myeongdong. Trust me. Good Front desk staff. Eventhough during time, my check-in got some error. waiting almost an hour. but it's last minute booking, i understand the technical problem.
