“Great stay in the heart of Seoul”

Spacious rooms with all necessary amenities (including a washing machine in our case). Clean and quiet. Close to many attractions in Seoul. Breakfast was good with enough variety of food. Staff members were friendly and very professional. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location near major tourist sights. Close enough to Anguk subway station and Airport Limousine 6011 bus stop. Several vegetarian eateries are within 5-20 minutes walk. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are perfect for a family of 3. Washing machine that also functions as a dryer - unless you understand Korean, use Google translate with your phone camera to understand the buttons and options. Fabulous buffet breakfast (included in room rate) with plenty of choices of Korean and Western food. Convenience store is just downstairs within the hotel building.

The severe lack of lifts relative to number of guests and floors was a problem. Lifts were being renovated and only two in action, and one only at times.

We had a great 5 nights in the hotel as the room was very spacious (extra large for Seoul) and the beds were very comfortable. As we were in a room high up on level 10 in the building, we had a great view of the old part of the city and the mountains behind it. The washer-dryer was very handy as we had been traveling for a while and needed to wash clothes and dry them quickly. There’s a big fridge, microwave, kettle and cooktop for preparing snacks and light meals when not going out. The gym on level 2 is well equipped and great for doing some resistance training and plenty of treadmills for cardio. The breakfast is great with a big choice of things to eat (although we did wish they changed the choices around a little as it did get repetitive after 5 nights). The staff were super friendly and very helpful whenever we needed information or assistance. The hotel is near a station but it does not take you directly to Seoul station so not handy if you have a lot of luggage and are intending to take the fast train from/to Incheon airport. However we used the free taxi included in our booking with Booking.com and that was great and fast (55 mins). We also used a taxi to get back to the airport and that cost KRW 58,000. If you are a walker then you can get to everything in central Seoul very easily when you stay here. We walked everywhere including all the way to Seoul tower on the other side of the city.
