Overview
Shilla Stay Seodaemun, part of Samsung Group, offers over 300 stylish modern rooms, an on-site restaurant and a fitness centre. The hotel is located just outside Exit 7 and 8 of Seodaemun Subway Station (Line 5). Fitted with wooden furnishings and air conditioning, each room here will be installed with a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Private bathroom will include a shower booth, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers will be provided. The 24-hour front desk provides currency exchange service while laundry and dry-cleaning services can be requested. There is a business centre and banquet facilities in house as well. WiFi in all areas of the hotel and multiple meeting rooms will be available for guests’ use and the fitness centre will be open from 06:30 until 23:00. Daily breakfast buffet will be served from 06:30 until 09:30 on weekdays, from 07:00 until 10:00 on weekends and holidays at Café, the on-site restaurant. From the hotel, the historical Jeongdong Theatre and the beautiful Deoksugung Palace Stone Wall are within 15-minute walk to the east. Gwangwhamun Gate and Gyeongbokgung Palace are just 1 subway station or 7-minute subway ride away. The hotel is a 1-hour drive from Incheon International Airport and a 40-minute drive from Gimpo Airport.

“A very nice hotel, would book again”
A really nice, big room. The breakfast was good. The view was excellent. There was a metro station next to the hotel, so it was easy to get around.

“Excellent would stay here again”
Spot on location. Near to the station and the subway line 5 is just at the front of the hotel. Didn't have breakfast so l cannot comment. Plenty of places nearby to eat. Comfy bed and pillows, bedlinen change frequently. Good bathroom and although the room is a little on the small size it is adequate, especially when one considers land is at a premium in Seoul. Laundry is FREE so useful. Staff are very helpful on giving advice on how to travel and get around. l didn't find the hotel noisy. Yes reception was sometimes very busy but the staff dealt with everyone with courtesy and as swiftly as possible. Oh and l loved the toilet/bidet with heated seat

“An awesome stay in Seoul”
Firstly, I like the comfortable layout of the bed and the bathroom toilet. Just enough room, leg space, non-slip tiles, branded toiletries and automated bidet controls that worked intuitively without having to second guess what each control button was meant to do. Secondly, the reception service is top notch. Thirdly, room service was very amenable and accommodative. And lastly, the location is fantastic if anyone wants to be located centrally close-by within 15 minutes of Hongdae, insadong and Myeondong by bus and train. I would be coming to Shilla Stay again for my next visit to Seoul. My time at Shilla Stay Seodaemun was memorable for all these welcoming experiences. Thank you.

“I will stay here again, for sure!”
The location was close to many interesting spots. City view room was great! You also have the metro (line 5) at the doorstep. The bed was super comfortable. The water pressure in the bedroom was fantastic. Bottles of water were supplied and there is a fridge. Good selection and quantity of toiletries. I was also able to store my bags whilst away for a few days. The Bus stops to and from Incheon Airport are a 2 mins walk across the hotel.

“Great choice for international travellers”
Central location - subway at entrance, bus stops nearby in all directions. Staff always there and works super fast. Bed very comfortable, air conditioning does it's job. Shower had excellent water pressure. Housekeeping daily with no exceptions. They also refill and restock everything. Wifi works fast. Great view from the window.

The location was excellent, with a station right outside the door. It was an easy walk to lots of good cafes and restaurants. Rooms were spacious and clean with a really comfortable bed! View from the room was also great!
