Overview
Residence Unicorn offers cosy studio-type rooms with a private kitchen and free WiFi, within a 15-minute walk from Sinseoldong (Line 1 and 2) and Dongmyo (Line 1 and 6) subway stations. A private suite with everything one can need. Not luxurious but very cozy , feels like home. It’s very spacious for Seoul where most of the hotels are so small that you can’t even open your suitcase inside. You have a microwave, fridge, water boiler , hairdryer, hair iron, AC and even a fan. The location is very good. You have a metro station that you can reach by foot. 10 minutes. Bus stop is only a few steps away. Very nearby (3 minutes walk) , you have convenient stores and small local restaurants with Korean food for a very cheap price. You even have a pharmacy right down. The cherry on top is the host. She’s the sweetest. Just send her a message if you need anything and she’ll be there for you. The check in instructions are also very clear and well explained.

“Very happy and satisfied”
Landlady Ponny was incredibly kind—our flight landed 7:30 in the morning and she let us check in early without any extra charges. I mean you rarely find such generosity anywhere else; we are truly grateful. The room was spotless and clearly prepared with great care, with thoughtful attention to every detail. It had recently been renovated, and we were even upgraded to a better room. Our whole family had a wonderful stay. This was our fourth visit, and we will definitely be back again.

I wasn’t sure about the location when booking, but after staying there, I can totally recommend it! It’s not far from the city center, and all the buses and subway stations are nearby without being crowded at all. A great bonus is a huge supermarket just around the corner. Ponny is an amazing host - extremely helpful and very understanding. 100/10

Great location, handy for shopping and groceries. Flat nice and clean and spacious. Having a washing machine was really helpful. Also, importantly, the host was fantastic and responded often within minutes of a request.

Ponny was very friendly and helpful, his quick response helped us a lot. He also offered a commute to the nearby train station after the check out.The room has a washing machine which is friendly for us, my daughter also likes the swing like sofa in the room. The location was also quite convenient.

2nd time staying here. Pleasant as always. The place is very home-y and comfortable. Ponny, the host is easily contacted and very friendly. Facilities easily accessible. It may not be in the centre of Seoul, but very good place, close to 3 train stations. There’s washing machine facilities which made it easier to travel light.
