Overview
LOTTE City Hotel Mapo is located above five levels of shops and clinics, and offers an indoor pool, a fitness centre and a car park. The hotel is conveniently located directly outside Exit 2 of Gongdeok Subway Station (Line 5, 6, Gyeongui Line and Airport Railroad Line). Mapo Lotte Hotel provides a buffet spread of Western dishes at restaurant Naru, where daily breakfast is also served. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Seoul Station, a 30-minute drive from Gimpo Airport and a 60-minute drive from Incheon International Airport.

“Everything was enjoyable. If pillows could be slightly firmer and the Lotte Matt was open, it would have been wonderful.”

good location, right next to the train station, room is clean, bed is comfy, you can borrow umbrellas from the hotel, there is a 7-11 and a coffee take away kiosk inside the hotel

The room and staff were friendly and accomodating..Highly recommended if you planning to take the metro train to walk around as the station is connecting to the hotel..just 5 min walk

“A comfy overnighter at the Lotte in Seoul”
The location was great, lots of places to eat around the hotel. Record Pizza nearby was very good. The room was comfy and spotless, it was perfect for an overnighter in Seoul. The service from the staff at the counter was very good too.

“Ideal for first time and solo travellers.”
This is a great location for first time travellers to Seoul, especially Solo travelling. The facilities within the hotel such as the laundry room was an excellent service, the 24 hour 7 eleven, baggage weigh in area and the train station below the hotel. This made travelling around the city a lot more easier.

“A comfortable stay in a pretty strategic location of Seoul with lots of food options”
Love the 24-hour laundromat, bevy of restaurants and shops at the basement (the supermarket is currently under renovation until June 2026), and its proximity to Gongdeok Station Exit 2. It’s great that the room’s air-con temperature can be adjusted by the guest. Lots of food options within walking distance!

“Good location and quiet room, but outdated facilities and poor amenities made it not worth returning”
I requested for a quiet room and the hotel accommodated it perfectly, so I had a very good night’s rest throughout the trip. The location is also super convenient, the station is less than a 3-minute walk from the lobby, and there are many subway lines available, making it very easy to get around.
