“Great Stay!”

Such a great first experience in a Hanok! At first, we were skeptical how the actual place would be compared to the nice photos on booking.com. But, when we arrived, we were happy to realise that it is indeed as nice as it looks on photos! The owner's little touches like fresh flowers and neatly arranged tea set etc add to the ambience of the house. It is really thoughtful of her to have a safe, separate area where we could leave our luggage before the check in time at 3pm. Not to forget the projector with Netflix! My sons totally enjoyed watching some cartoons after a day of exploration! Finally, it was the owner's kindness on top of the nice, clean house that we feel deserved a good review! She's as kind as what others had reviewed. We love the house and her hospitality! Thank you, lady owner!

We absolutely loved the location of this property. It was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to see and do. It was very clean and cozy, and suited our very relaxed style of travel very well. Also there were fresh flowers everywhere when we arrived which made it feel so lovely and homey! I will warn if you are taller than 5’9”/176cm there’s a couple of spots to watch your head. We got around fine but I felt my hair skim the ceiling on my way down into the kitchen when I wasn’t paying attention. Otherwise a perfect place to stay and I highly recommend!

“Beautiful house in a great location”

This was beautiful, authentic Korean Hanok. Easy to reach the palaces and subway. It was cold when we visited and the underfloor heating was lovely.

I like everything about the facilities and cleanliness inside the house. Host is super friendly and helpful. She reply promptly to your messages too. It's very near to the food streets and small restaurants too. The Hwang-nam Jjondeugi chewy fries and Kyochon chicken are supper yummy 😋

“Wonderful stay at a Bukchon hanok”

The owner was very prompt and helpful. She allowed our luggage to have an early check-in and even prepared some Korean snacks to welcome us. The hanok is very central to explore the wonderful sights, culture and food of Bukchon. Too bad we only stayed for 1 night.

We had amazing stay, hanok is absolutely beautiful, attention to details, easy contact with the owner, perfect location in the heart od Bukhon Hanok Village, kitchen is well equipped, the same with the bathroom, beautiful courtyard, I wish we stayed there only one night.

“Authentic house in Seoul”

The house is very authentic and beautiful. During the summer it's very nice to have a private court to stay / eat outside. We had a very good time there and it's very close to the imperial palace.

Good location. Responsive host. Good wifi. Comfortable beds. Thoughtful and good quality furnishings and equipment.

We wanted to experience accommodation that was of a traditional style but with slightly thicker mattresses. Good mix of traditional and modern. Delightful and unexpected welcome treat upon arrival, nice personal touch which was appreciated. Great location. Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated.

“A home away from home”

Booked a stay here for the family, it was such a lovely stay. So conveniently located near shops, eateries and even the major palaces, yet it is tucked in a quiet little alley which allows for a good rest. Very well furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Host was so helpful too.

The host was wonderful, we could leave the luggage earlier and pick up the key; she prepared us tea and some delicious sweets. The experience is amazing, we love the area and the heated floor of the house. It is full of cutness, tje bed is super confortable and we had some snow sonit looked like a fairytale. Thank you!
