Overview
Tommy's other job is in the quarantine and disinfection service company. We are doing our best to ensure hygiene and cleanliness. Newly renovated in March 2018, Hostel Tommy is located within a 3-minute walk from Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Subway Station (Line 1, 3 and 5). It offers both dormitory-style and private guestrooms with free WiFi. Guests can relax in the shared lounge and make use of the computers there. A simple free breakfast of toast, cereals, jam and coffee is available daily. All rooms are fitted with both heating and air conditioning. Dormitory rooms have private lockers and shared bathroom facilities. Private rooms have a flat-screen TV, sofa and a private bathroom. Luggage can be stored at the 24-hour front desk. Fax and photocopying facilities are also available. Hostel Tommy is a 1-minute walk from Ikseon-dong, a 9-minute walk from the art galleries and Korean restaurants on Insa-dong Culture Street. The property is also within a 2-minute drive from Changdeokgung Palace and a 10-minute drive from Myeong-dong and Namdaemun shopping areas. You can go to Seoul National University Hospital in 10 minutes by taking bus number 12 right in front of HostelTommy.

“Great location reasonable value”
Great location close to metro and both palaces lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast nice in the morning and able to use kitchen if you want to Handy 7/11 below hostel. Very friendly staff

“Perfect”
The location was perfect for us, close to the palaces, metro, insadong, ikseon dong. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very helpful. The owner was so friendly and my son (3) loved him so much!

“The hostel is 10/10.”
The hostel is 10/10. Mr. Tommy is wonderful, and other staff too. The rooms are clean and there's is enough space for luggage etc. No noise from the streets. All common premises are great. Children (9yo) loved all the games, guitar and rooftop terrace. You can wash your laundry (only 1000won), you can borrow slippers. The breakfest is basic, but helps you start the morning. Location is good - many restaurants nearby, and easy to use public transportation to go around Seoul. Not that much shopping nearby, if that is what you are looking for (the hostel is 15-20min by metro from Myeongdong.). I would definitely recommend hostel Tommy. Bus 6011 from the airport comes nearby hostel.

“Perfect location, every thing u need while travelling.will visit again”
The breakfast though limited to cereal and toast was sufficient with also facility to cook your own stuff if needed. The location is very convenient with most major attractions near by, public transport very near, food street and pubs/ restaurants close by. The hostel has everything a traveller would need. Tommy also kept in touch frequently checking on our well-being which was reassuring. It was the Korean children’s day during our stay and our kids got a surprise gift from him which was very thoughtful and great

“Perfect place to start exploring Seoul!”
Clean rooms, nice breakfast, ideally located for visiting the big palaces and enjoying the Iksedong village. The pretty, narrow streets are right next door and there‘s so many great food options close by. The staff is very friendly, we were even able to check in early and get changed after a long flight before heading out again. Whenever we‘re back in Seoul, we will be sure to be back!

Very clean and private hostel room. Probably the best hostel room I have stayed at during my travels so far. Staff are nice and socialable. Guests are talkactive and social as well if you wish to share stories and talk a bit.

“Very nice, would stay again”
The double room had just enough space for me and my two suitcases. I liked the light up mirror and found the hair dryer useful. Breakfast was okay and simple and easy to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. I also liked the towel system. The eating area was quite quaint and homely. There were rail bars on the stairs which I found helpful for when lugging suitcases up the stairs.
