Dongdaemun Hwasin Hostel is located in Seoul. It is within a 1-minute walk from the exit 7 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Subway Station (Line 2, 4 and 5). Room has everything you need. Fantastic price. The host is one of the nicest guys you’ll meet, very friendly and welcoming! He has put so much thought into everything! Short walk to the metro which is important for Seoul and 7-Eleven just around the corner!

Great place for that price. Hostel was clean and staff were friendly! It's located just right by the metro and airport bus stop, so very convenient. Close to convenience stores too. Great place for people who needs cheap place to just sleep but don't want to share rooms.

“Good place to stay in Dongdaemun area”
1. The location was great as it was very near to Line 5 subway station, as well as Line 4 and Line 2 stations, and other bus stops. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores around too. 2. The double room was comfortable with good lighting, ventilation even without outside window, fast internet, toiletries, slippers, mirror, table, and small fridge. 3. The hostel had pantry with water dispenser. 4. The landlord was also nice and could speak English, but he is very strict with the noise.

Really nice place to stay when you visit Seul. He hostel is really clean , confortable bed, quite atmosphere o sleep really important after you have been walking whole day.

Very clean room, and friendly staff who supported me when I had problems As a solo female traveler I felt very safe in the neighborhood even at night The subway station is very close which makes it easy to explore the city I got here from the airport with the 6001 bus, which is also just a short walk to the hostel The kitchen was also pretty clean and there are a few convenience stores close to the hostel

“Great for solo travellers!”
Great location. You can walk to Cheonggyecheon Stream, DDP, Sulbing bingsu and heaps of shops & restaurants. Very clean room and everyone's quiet. The manager is very kind and helpful. As a solo traveller I felt safe staying there.

“Amazing”
Amazing! It was a great location, nearby DDP plaza! The person renting these room is really really kind! You have a kettle that you can use, which was nice! Also umbrellas, when it was raining! It was amazing

It was a simple but comfortable stay. I was happy to stay here for 10 nights. The host always greeted me warmly when I left or came back for the day. Very close to airport bus + multiple subway lines. Dongdaemun is a charming area.

“Zero-frills but a perfect affordable option for when you just want to rest your feet.”
Zero-frills but a perfect affordable option for when you just want to rest your feet, ready for the next day of exploring Seoul. Located in an alleyway about 30 seconds walk from the nearest subway entrance, alley did seem sketchy at first (I arrived during the evening) but turned out to be completely safe. I stayed for 7 nights and never had an issue. Subway exit was conviniently opposite a 7/11 and also August Chicken, a fried chicken restaurant which was some of the best I've ever had (not just in Korea!)

Great location, close to the metro and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but so quiet which is amazing! Comfortable bed and clean room. Highly recommend!
