Everything was OK, the manager of the apartment was trying to fullfill all my requests like earlier breakfests, to get some iron, etc. which seemed not to be standard requests.

“Lovely hotel - ignore the poor reviews”
I’m giving this a 10 to counter balance some of the low scores that I think are from not having the right expectations. It is a bit out of the way but that gives you quiet and views of the sea. The hall carpet is interesting but zero smell and who spends any time in hallways anyway? Our room was enormous, comfiest & cleanest bed and bedding so far, nice balcony with mosquito screen. Lovely bathroom (no damp) particularly liked to gadgets loo! Yes the towels are small - they are everywhere in Korea. Breakfast is at 8:30 only, it is a Korean breakfast, we loved it. The owner is friendly and helpful.

“Great view, wonderful attention”
The hotel is well located and have great views to Sanbang Mountain. It is also pretty convenient to visit the main attractions of the island. The owner was extremely kind and dedicated. He gave us wonderful information on trekkings, other activities and restaurants. The korean breakfast served daily is homemade and really good. The room is spacious and you can see the sunrise from your bed.

“Nice hotel with nice Korean breakfast”
The room is very spacious with a great view. The bathroom is great with a very nice shower. The owner is welcoming and kind. He recommended us some nice places to visit, which were excellent. They served us a delicious Korean breakfast every morning and provided us with clean (also big) towels and water bottles. It has a decent parking space in front and is excellently located for visiting some of Jeju's best locations (a rental car is most practical here).

“Lucid M is a peaceful guesthouse with beautiful mountain and coastal views—perfect for our family.”
Our host was so warm and friendly. He recommended Cheonjeyeon Falls and a nearby beach—where we ended up spending our favorite day on Jeju. He even dropped us off and took the scenic route where we could appreciate the beauty of the Yongmeori Coast. Many guesthouses stopped serving breakfast during Covid, but Lucid M continues to offer delicious Korean soup and side dishes every morning. We really enjoyed the tteokguk (rice cake soup) and doenjang-jjigae (fermented soybean paste stew).

Really nice and helpful owner, speaks English, with great recommendations. Good Korean breakfast. Perfect location to explore the area. A couple of minutes to the beach and nearby temple. Great view of the sea and quiet. Rooms are quite large.
