It was a beautiful property. Everything had been well planned and thought out from the comfy bed to the upstairs terrace and loyalty bar. We loved the local delicacies served every morning as part of breakfast. The Snop House is well located with a 10 min walk to the local ferry to Valletta and 5 min walk to local bars and restaurants by the waterfront. The staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming and were on hand to help with any of your needs.

This beautiful traditional town house full of interesting art work in one of the history three cities was a fantastic place to stay to explore Malta. Petrie and Sean are experts in the art of hospitality. They were so welcoming and provided us with fantastic breakfasts which included a different Maltese baked item each day. They also gave us good local travel advice and organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport. We also loved the roof top seating area with an honesty bar and the close proximity of Snop House to the Valletta ferry and excellent waterside restaurants.

Staff are fantastic- nothing was too much bother. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms are spotless and lovely. Little touches like the slippers and bathrobes are appreciated.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the three cities and just a short walk from the Valletta ferry. Our room was lovely, including our own private terrace, not to mention the shared rooftop terrace with great views over the harbour. We would definitely recommend.

Superb bed! Very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was great and well presented. Friendly and efficient staff. In particular Sean who was caring and knowledgeable.

The whole experience was excellent. All staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was so tasty with freshly baked croissants and homemade yoghurt. The art work throughout is lovely including some commissioned pieces. Bed was so comfortable and room was so quiet that I slept like a log. Good location for ferry to Valetta and bus stop just across the road. Restaurants within easy walking distance. Loved the honesty bar and the outside terrace.

A gorgeous boutique hotel in an excellent location. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially Shawn who prepared breakfast for us every morning and gave us very useful advice on local attractions and restaurants. The breakfasts were excellent with good quality locally sourced ingredients and a different local speciality to try every day. The roof top terrace, with honesty bar had stunning views accross the harbour and over to Valletta. We will definately be returning to The Snop House.

The breakfast was always a great start to the day. The location is perfect. Close to public transport (bus) and the ferry to Valletta. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Well kept accommodation.

Breakfast was huge and very good. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly. The room was huge and exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Very pleasant roof terrace with honesty bar was delightful after a day wandering around Valletta and senglea.

We chose the Snop House for our stay in Malta over Christmas, partly based on reviews and party on location. It did not disappoint on any level. The room was large and comfortable and at the front of the house overlooking the main street. The location was perfect for exploring the three cities and for access to the ferry to Valletta (about 7-10 minutes walk). The staff, especially Sean(?), were wonderful and we had many excellent conversations with them over breakfast, which was always delicious and varied, with special items every day. Nothing was too much trouble. The terrace on the roof was a wonderful facility with a well stocked honesty bar and wonderful views over the cityscape, especially glorious at Christmas. Location for transport was excellent with the bus stop about 20m from the door, so easy access to the airport. A wonderfully renovated and decorated house with many splendid and quirky works of art. The French owners, who we met, were delightful and clearly art collectors with exquisite taste. A brilliant stay and highly recommended.

“Perfect four star hideaway. 🌟”

The room was big and simple but beautifully decorated with original artwork throughout the whole hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous and super clean. The air conditioning was easy to control and cooled the bedroom perfectly. With a separate balcony room and corridor to the hallway, the room was very quiet from any outside noise. The blinds were not, unfortunately, completely blackout, so I was glad I'd brought an eye mask with me. The lift was super helpful if you had mobility issues. Breakfast was continental and served to the table in a lovely, quiet little dining room. Every day, there was an extra 'special' local delicacy on offer. The hotel is in a quiet area with a few good returants five mins walk away down a lot of steps. Across the road, the number one bus takes you straight to Valletta if you dont want to walk ten mins to the ferry. I'd happily stay again!

We had an excellent stay at Snop House! The owners, Sophie and Olivier, were truly wonderful and lovely hosts – very welcoming, always eager to help, and full of great tips. They personally served breakfast each morning, which was absolutely perfect and very delicious. The property itself is in a fantastic location in Senglea – just a short hop to Valletta, but even better because it’s outside the crowds, so you can enjoy the authentic local vibe. The house was full of thoughtful touches, even providing beach towels, which made things so much easier. Everything was simply perfect and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended – we’ll be very happy to return again! 🥰🔆
