“Exceeds expectations”

The apartment is great, has all the appliances a family may need, even for a longer stay. First of all our host - Simon - welcomed us at the door and provided us with basic groceries (bread, fruits, orange juice, tomatoes and a few other things were waiting for us in the fridge), so it's very convenient if You arrive late and do not know where to buy things or do not want to carry the food with You. There was also a supply of bottled water and a coffee machine filled with coffee beans and ready to use. We were also lucky that we could stay longer in the apartment on departure day. The apartment is packed with convenient solutions, from which I will just mentioned those we valued the most: bedroom layout ideal for 2+2 daughters family, air conditioning in each bedroom + living room, smart home controlled with Alexa, there are a few plug adapters for power sockets also ... we simply had everything we needed and more. The apartment is located in Senglea (L-Isla), You can get to center of Valetta with buses (nearest stop just 2 minutes away) or with ferry (~10 minutes away). It's a quiet street, we found a few small grocery or coffee shops nearby. We simply loved our stay.

Very homely atmosphere. The host waited for us despite the very late arrival. He left a welcome wine and fruits, or things for breakfast like (bread, tomatoes, some cheese, butter, juice, water), was at our disposal. He had an espresso machine, toaster, washing machine, and dryer. If we had any questions, he was available at any hour.🤭🤭

You really couldn't ask for better quality. Everything was well organised and thought of. Great option also if you appreciate peacefulness: the location offers unique tourist perspectives and - while being just a stone's throw from Valletta (the ferry is an attraction in itself) - it avoids its hustle and bustle.

I booked the Azure Gold apartment for my wife and her sister. The host Simon was very helpful during the booking process, a pleasure to deal with. My wife’s review of their actual stay follows. My sister and I spent a week at the apartment in May 2025. It’s a lovely flat, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-appointed. Simon is a very pleasant person and a fantastic host. He had left a very generous amount of provisions and he was always on hand to answer any questions we had. And he very kindly organised our taxi to the airport when we were departing. The lady taxi driver was also a very pleasant person. The apartment is in a good location, transport to Valletta (by Mapre boat or the no.1 bus, the stop is across from the church) is just minutes away. The boat gives you stunning views of the Grand Harbour and the bus takes you through the three cities giving you an insight into the areas. The bus drops you at the bus station which is immediately outside the Valletta city gates. On the return journey the bus departs from stand 2. There are two shops nearby. St Catherine’s, five minutes away going down the hill, is open 24/7 and the Old Store next to the church is open 8.00-13.00 and 16.00-18.00. All in all an excellent apartment and an excellent host. We were delighted.

Absolutely top host care . There was nothing missing in apartment, much more than in any other places . Bits like coffee, tea, toilet paper ,board games ,some fruit, wine . No hidden charges as air-conditioning or safe .all included . Beds extremely comfortable and big enough.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean .Everything you need to make it home from home is provided and is of excellent quality. The thoughtfulness of the owner Simon was so appreciated. He checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything and was always on hand to answer questions if needed. A generously stocked fridge with essentials and more was most welcome on arrival.The location of the apartment was perfect for us, we felt very safe and welcome in the area .friendly locals, excellent restaurants and easy transport options available at very reasonable prices.

Apartment was amazing, very comfortable and had everything we needed along with things that I now need to buy for my house 😁 Simon (owner) was very helpful and was available to assist if needed. It is situated very close to the ferry for Valletta and many local bars and restaurants.

Before a long travel day, arrive to the appartment what had a few thign to eat and breackfast, to drink a coffe, it was so gratefull. Has everything you need and it is very comfortable.

His apartment is super clean, modern and he provided us with fresh fruits, coffee, stocked up fridge and a bottle of wine! Communication was excellent, and he would accommodate to all our requests. Azure Gold was an exceptional property, very clean had everything you needed. The host Simon was very friendly and helpful. There was bread, milk, eggs, tea coffee and wine in the flat on arrival which was a great help to get us started without having to do a shop.

I was met by Simon at the door, who showed me around the apartment and how to operate the various gadgets. The apartment also came stocked with basic supplies for breakfast which meant I did not have to go purchase these myself in the morning. The location was very quiet, so I slept very well. The apartment itself was clean, modern and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Simon is a great host, helpful, and undestanding. Our flight was late and he waited us during the late hours. Regarding the apartment, it is the best I have ever been on Booking. Pictures exactly describe what you'll get. Apartment had some welcoming gifts, like some stuff in the fridge, bread, wine... Kitchen is well equipmet and didn't miss anything. Beside that, last day we had late flight, so he helped us with that as well. If someone has any doubts (like I had), I'd can confirm that Simon has 2 apartments, one is "Azure Apartment", second one is "Azure Gold Apartment". So if one is occupied, choose the other one.
