“Excellent experience with the Japanese countryside”
It was a good place to stay and really value for money. The people were very helpful and friendly. The Onsen was also used by the locals which gave a sense about the area. Overall I was happy to have had the experience. Nice people!

“Warm and cozy, but nothing impressive”
I would say it's clean and cozy. Personally, I enjoy Japanese-style bedrooms, so it was good enough for me. It's also easy to get to Tazawako if you'd like to visit.
