Overview
Lodge Yodel offers accommodation in Senboku and features 2 hot springs baths that use natural flowing water from hot springs. Guests can rent the hot springs bath for private use upon request. All units feature a flat-screen TV. There is a shared bathroom with slippers and towels in every unit. Lodge Yodel provides meals that use home-grown vegetables and rice. Tazawako Station is a 15-minute drive away from the property, while Morioka is 60 minutes by car. Tazawako Station is a 3-hour train ride away from Tokyo Station on Akita Shinkansen. Akita Airport is approximately 75-minutes away via car.

Our hosts Sayaka & her mother were very kind, welcoming & helpful. Sayaka speaks very good English & was able to help with all our enquiries. The lodge is only a few minutes drive from Tazawako Ski Resort. The meals were wonderful. The traditional tatami style room was extremely comfortable & the Onsen was simply perfect.

“Eat well, Rest well. Absolutely amazing.”
This is a hotel that delivers MUCH more than a budget hotel. The staff, Sayaka, was so accommodating. Our train was delayed but she still made sure to have a warm dinner ready for us when we arrived (well after a normal dinner time). The room was perfect and traditional. The private Onsen is an outstanding, relaxing oasis. Honestly, cannot recommend this place enough. You will eat well, rest well, and have a wealth of information to access. 11/10
