The buffet was tasty and features special dish like bear meat and Kiritanpo. The staff on restaurant are very efficient and hence they helped the hotel.

“Lovely hotel with great food!”
Lovely hotel close to the Tazawako ski area 😍 with great buffet meals, comfy family rooms and nice onsen - the outdoor bath was particularly nice. Always nice to be in a hot bath with snow all around! We would definitely stay again.

The onsen was very nice, both the indoor and outdoor one. Food was ok, a lot of variety. Bed was comfortable and I really liked the small area of tatami floor.

“Bizarre”
It is quite unique. Quite bizarre in the set up. Many corridors to walk and unused/old spaces and lobby’s.

The spread of breakfast and dinner was really good. There were a lot to choose from (they even have deer meat during dinner). There was a complimentary ramen spot that starts from 9:30pm (if I remember correctly) opposite the reception. Unfortunately I was not able to try because I was stuffed on both nights of my stay after the dinner buffet. I also love that they provide free shuttle from Tazawako Station to hotel and vice versa. I got to experience my first ever onsen here in this hotel. It was a super comfortable stay and would love to come back here again if I have the chance to someday.

We were upgraded to a mountain view suite as booking.com stated "mountain view" and initially we were to be given a room without a view. I showed this to reception and wow! Takami samurai suite, lovely. Great buffet. Onsen large and lovely. Unfortunately outside onsen was closed.
