A basic, clean and comfortable room. Aircon, water bottles towels. Nice breakfast for a few dollars. Tuk tuk ride to town 2 dollars, or a 20 minute walk. Manel organized tuk tuks to pick us up.

The girl who welcomed us was lovely. It's a lovely building, comfy bed and pillow.

It is a quiet place inside the city. Manel the host was also very nice and very reactive. You can rent a scooter at the guesthouse, the food is good. He can also help you for many other things such as booking a trek or a bus ticket.

I really enjoyed this guesthouse, but there is a MASSIVE caveat you need to know and it was why I made a review of this place in the first place (booked third party transport). This is such a lovely guesthouse. It is clean, Manel (who also speaks great English) is so friendly and welcoming - along with the rest of his family! You can see that they really enjoy and take care of their customers. His wife cooks the most amazing food - from local indigenous bunong meals to other amazing dishes like the stir fry and lok lak (all for USD$4-7). I ate here every night and never felt like I needed to explore what other restaurants there were. Their friendliness and amazing food was the highlight of this place. He also offers many different tours such as seeing elephants and multiday hikes through the jungle to a local Bunong Village (I did the 2D1N option for USD$75 - ask for the guide Hong because he was amazing and will also tell you how he met Gordon Ramsey in his local village) I don't drink coffee, but after being in Vietnam I've been more open to drinking coffee and have been trying to find the taste of the first coffee I had (it was in a random umbrella market I never knew the name of). Based on a recommendation here on booking, I tried their coffee (which uses beans grown in this province - Mondulkiri). Hilariously enough, the coffee they offer (hot condensed milk) reminded me EXACTLY of the coffee I lost and I am very sad I only tried it the morning I left. The showers and toilets are clean and they have a hammock that I spent so much time lounging around in. The rooms have locked draws and mosquito nets which is nice. It is a little out of town, but after walking up and down more than twice you don't realize how far away it is.

Manel was very helpful and his wife and daughter were also there to help look after us and cook on request with an extensive menu. He is knowledgeable about what to do in the area. Taking into account where this is located and the price i think it's a good option if you are used to hostelling.

​I had a wonderful stay at Manel Guesthouse. Manel is an incredible host and his family is lovely and very helpful, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. ​The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay in Mondulkiri. I also really enjoyed the meals here—the food is very tasty and clearly prepared with care. A huge highlight for me was the awesome terrace, which is the perfect spot to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. ​If you are looking for genuine hospitality and a great local experience, I highly recommend staying here!

Nice guesthouse in a quiet neighbourhood, 15 min walking from the town centre. Good choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Organizes tours, motorbikes for rent, etc.

We had a good time at Manel Guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is not in the center but you can easily walk (15-20min) or take a tuk tuk there. Manel was really helpful in arranging tour and transportation.

Manel is such a kind-hearted host who truly made us feel at home. Even though we stayed only one night, the attention and care were exceptional. So humble, warm, and genuinely concerned that we were comfortable - we really appreciated it!

Convenient and helpful family run guesthouse. The food they served in the restaurant was great; I ate there all three nights in was there. The larb is delicious! You can book tours and rent bikes. I'd already booked my elephant tour directly with EVP, though. The dorm is comy, with a number of fans helping with air circulation, as well as a red light in addition to regular ones, which is a good idea for low-disturbance lighting in a dorm .

Manel guesthouse is really nice place to stay ! We arrived for one night but stayed more as we loved the place. The place is clean with a really good atmosphere. The room was perfect with everything you need. We understand why this guesthouse has good reviews, Manel is so nice (and his family) and helpful for everything you need. He helped us with our money issues, share his meal, explain us some stuff and answer every questions we had etc Also the food from the restaurant was super good! You’re not in a “city center” but it’s worth to stay there. Thank you !
