A charming little house with a living room on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, with a beautiful garden. Tastefully decorated and located about a 20-minute walk from the city center. It is possible to park your car in the street for free.

Semur en Auxois is a very nice place to stay for a few days, and this is in a good position as a base. A lovely walk down the back street to the river, and then up the ramparts to the shops/restaurants. Good exercise! Plenty to do in the area too. Quiet spot being out of town. Decent equipped kitchen, although a small oven would have been a bonus (a combi microwave maybe?). Linen/towels good and bed comfy enough. Plenty of hot hot water. A good shower. As I get older a toilet downstairs (wooden circular) in the night required careful negotiating! But I came to no harm. I noticed a stair gate for anyone with kiddies (or older nervous people!). A responsive host. Great to be able to park outside easily. I'd recommend Semur en Auxois.
