Sarah was a friendly host, accommodating in every way. The Gite was very tasteful with a beautiful garden in full spring bloom. The location was stunningly beautiful. We spent our time in Semur en Auxois relaxing at Sarah's picture-perfect place.

“Nicely located well-appointed gîte on the river, amazing views!”
The location was perfect, right alongside the river and an easy walk into town for able-bodied people. We didn’t need yo use the car all week. Semur-en Auxois is our favorite city in France. Sarah, our host couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. Beautifully decorated. Lovely bathroom.

A wonderful way to spend our last day on the road after 3 weeks!! A lovely cottage deep in the countryside - and deep in a canyon with wonderful picture postcard views from the small garden. Although furnished in a slightly old-fashioned style, this accommodation must suit everyone. A perfect self-contained cottage next door to the owner who is lovely and helpful. Parking is possible in front of the building or a little further along the road (where it is wider). Five minutes up the steps alongside the cottage is the small town which has a variety of restaurants and shops.

“A perfect place to unwind and enjoy time away from everyday life.”
It was very well equipped with many thoughtful extras. Lovely garden with a fabulous view. The whole place had an air of tranquility about it thus allowing you to relax and just be. Location both for the village and for visiting other places was great. A definite “We will return”
