“Not worth the $$$ but a few pros”

I am basing my review on both the cost and the standard of Malaysian hospitality i have experienced during my travels. First of all, for 3 of us in one villa it cost 1620 MYR per night, and we stayed for 3 nights. This is significantly on the pricier end for Borneo. Pros: - Although it was costly for an additional bed, it was genuinely comfortable and not a typical rollaway During high tide, the views were beautiful -The boats to and from Semporna were frequent, and it was easy to communicate with the manager to arrange efficient transfers Cons: -The breakfast was awful. It was not heated, everything was cold, and it seemed like it had been cooked and left out. There was also no variety. - The service was minimal and we felt hardly acknowledged. The manager was lovely and did make an effort to speak with us -We trusted the hotel to organise a good day tour and were promised a maximum of 12 people. There were over 20 people on the boat, and as English speakers we were placed on a tour where everyone, including the guide, spoke Chinese. We had no idea what was going on -The pollution and rubbish in the water was quite noticeable and made it an unpleasant sight. This is a Semporna thing so out of control of the hotel. I would book somewhere else further away from the main land.

Best view and service! Highly recommended to stay here for an unforgettable experience. Nice boss and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room and environment. Have transparent kayak and watery activities. Great opportunity to meet new friends with different cultures. Can communicate with the staff for special occasions arrangement such as birthday/anniversary in advance.

The food and relaxing atmosphere. Appreciate the effort regarding the room decoration for my Girlfriend's Birthday.

Staff, amenities and everything was great.

Lovely spacious rooms and the most attentive, friendly staff.

Tea time was good with delicious goreng pisang. Dinner was with lots of spread to offer and the ambitious was good.

Gorgeous rooms in a beautiful location and the owner Eric is so helpful and friendly. excellent buffet lunches and dinners too with a good variety and range of dishes

this resort is more than I expected. This resort is definitely a 5 start resort. The room is spacious , comfortable and clean. The food is delicious and I love the fried plantains. The service is more than 5 star. All the staffs and the owner always try their best to help with anything we need. highly recommend.
