Overview
Featuring a free Turkish bath and a free infrared sauna, Hotel Monte44 is set in Selva di Val Gardena, 900 metres from the Ciampinoi cable car. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Dolomites. The Tyrolean-style rooms come with a satellite flat-screen TV, safe and an en suite bathroom, which is complete with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms feature a sofa, while others have an armchair. Served in the restaurant room, a buffet breakfast at the Promenade includes sweet and savoury items such as yoghurt, cereal, marmalade, cakes, doughnuts, fruit salad, cold cuts, cheese, eggs and hot drinks. Open exclusively for the hotel’s guests, the restaurant features regional and national dishes at dinner. You will also find here a garden equipped with tables and chairs, ping pong table and soccer field. A bar is also available. A public ski bus stops a few steps from the hotel’s entrance. The city of Bozen is 45 minutes’ drive away. Private parking and a ski storage room with boot warmer are free.

“Perfect spot in a stunning location”
Loved the location and free parking. The room was clean and had a stunning view. There was also a jacuzzi & sauna as well as a lovely terrace for drinks. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

“A lovely stay”
We had a lovely stay in Monte44. The hostess was incredibly helpful and kind, and it's a great location in Selva, set back from the main road but close enough to walk to in a couple of minutes. The room was smallish but very well designed with a lot of storage space, a couch and a lovely balcony. Throughout, the property is very clean and modern, and the breakfast was lovely, including eggs cooked to order. We would highly recommend!

“Great stay - would stay again!”
Location is great - short walk to the centre of Selva. Room was big and clean, with a balcony. The spa is brilliant - a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Perfect after a day of hiking.

“Lovely small hotel”
Great location of the hotel. It is easy to get from town to town by bus, with good connections. The appartment was clean. The breakfast was great. Monika was very kind and helpful, gave us great advice for our trip to the Dolomites.

Very well run hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was excellent and the overall value for money was very good.

“Extremely clean, quiet place with amazing host. I will definitely come again.”
One of the few places where you WANT to stay longer. Monica is such an amazing host that I’ve literally felt like home. Fantastic breakfasts made with her loving hands, extremely clean place, quiet too. Amazing view. This part of the Dolomites is not crowded with tourists so one doesn’t feel like other places there.

Very clean, well maintained, recently renovated ski lodge. Great view of the surroundings. Monica makes all the breakfast pastries and jams herself and is very knowledgeable about the area. An exceptional host!

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of town for any requirements. Very clean throughout whole premises. Good sized room with comfortable bed & very warm. Bar/restaurant provided good meals & our host was excellent - always smiling & friendly, providing excellent service. Extremely happy with our stay here & after spending 2 nights in Cortina D'Ampezzo, thought that this hotel & the city itself were far better as a location on the Dolomites

Great location , peaceful and quiet , bus station near by, free parking in front of the hotel. Wonderful customer service provided by our host Monica . She is doing great looking after everyone and everything , made us feel at home . Rooms are very clean and cozy , spa area is awesome, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended !
