Overview
Right on the Ciampinoi ski slopes, Hotel Freina in Selva di Val Gardena offers a spa, sun terrace and South Tyrol restaurant including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. A furnished garden surrounds the property and free bus tickets and free tours are offered. With a flat-screen TV with SKY channels and a balcony overlooking the mountains, all rooms at the Freina are spacious and have an elegant alpine décor. A private bathroom and large seating area with sofa are included in each. Organic products, homemade cakes and many other items are served as a buffet breakfast in the dining room or on the terrace. The restaurant offers local, Italian and international cuisine. A snack bar is also available. A Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, Salinair sauna and infrared cabin are available in the wellness centre, together with a hot tub and waterbeds. A shuttle can be requested at extra charge. Free WiFi is available throughout. In the heart of the Sella Ronda ski area, the hotel is a 30-minute drive from the Klausen train station. A bus stopping 100 metres from the hotel runs daily to Bolzano, 44 km away.

The location is absolutely stunning, breathtaking views right from the room. The interior design is elegant, with natural materials that create a cozy alpine atmosphere. The restaurant deserves a special mention. The absolute highlight of my summer was the steak tartare “Freina Style” with mustard ice cream. The combination was refined, creative, and absolutely delicious. The hotel is family-run, and you can feel the care in every detail. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, style, and heart. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family run hotel with exceptional service. We travel extensively as a family and I can safely say this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. There is ample parking. The hotel's restaurant is wonderful and there are other lovely options around the corner. The location is fantastic with great hiking all around and Sassolungo at your doorstep

A lovely alpine hotel in beautiful surroundings. Located close to the center of Selva di Val Gardena, with parking in a garage. Close to restaurants and lifts. Very helpful and friendly staff, making you feel most welcome. Spacious room with a balcony, including a new bathroom. The bed was creatively made up like on a cruise ship. The breakfast was absolutely superb - rich selections and good service. We were there for the summer and after a long day of hiking you can relax in the spa. The hotel has a restaurant for dining.
