“Great location and great host”

The host attention was excellent

Great accomodation! Spend here just one night on my way to south Croatia but I was not disappointed. Would visit again.

Although my request for an early check-in was initially denied, we were still offered to check in one hour earlier, which was much appreciated. The staff was exceptionally well-mannered, and the room itself was nice, tidy, clean, and cozy. The guesthouse is conveniently close to the beach.

Accommodation and stay at Guest house Podgorje was excellent. The room with a large shared terrace was perfect, everything you need in the room, space for two, clean environment. The owner and his sons are great, the restaurant, which is right below the accommodation, offers a perfect selection of food. The food is fresh and they also take into account allergies if you tell them. As in my case, it was no problem to make dishes without tomatoes or chili. The dry white wine was very tasty. Near to the accommodation you have a grocery store, bakery, ice cream or souvenir shop. It is two minutes to the sea, you literally cross the road and a short street takes you to a pebble beach with plenty of space and excellent access to the sea. If we were to return to Seline, we would definitely choose Guest House Podgorje again. Thank you very much for the stay and a great dinner to the owner and his sons. Slovak + Croat couple :)

Staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant below is also good. Plenty of parking space, flexible check-in, would recommend.

The location is very good, the room was spotless, and Jusup's family, especially Ivo as he was attending to us, was exceptionally friendly and very helpful he even offered to drive us to Zadar, which appreciated very much. The food was also excellent. We will return to their guest house in the future, and I very much recommend their place, it's a very pleasant place and good value for the money.

“Dangerous place with dangerous owner’s son”

I have never written bad review but if this review helps even one person, my effort has been worth it. Neither the noise of the air conditioner nor the coughing of the sick neighbors could sleep all night. In addition, we were also afraid that we would get sick. We asked the owner to find a solution for this. In response, the owner's son threw us out with an aggressive attitude. Because of the agressive attitude owner’s son I write the honest opinion about the “accomodation”. It’s not an accomodation its like a COLLEGE. In the common corridor there is a small kitchen counter without a hotplate. The fridge is also in the corridor, not in the room. This COLLEGE very noisy at all because of the restaurant and the main road. The view of the ruined courtyard is terrible. The wifi didn't work. The furniture, doors, floors are very, very old style. There aren’t entertainment options in the very small village. All in one I don't recommend it to anyone and I don't understand how can get this place an operating license.

“Excellent”

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. It came with a good sized bathroom, decent AC, and a nice balcony. There are communal kitchen facilities in the corridor outside the room including a separate fridge for each room. The restaurant in the guesthouse served excellent food at reasonable prices. The location was also excellent - 2 minute walk to the beach and a supermarket. Short drive to paklenica park. On-site parking. Had a lovely stay

“very clean, nice staff and food, everything was close to the property”

We had an amazing week at the Guest House Podgorje! The owners were extremely nice and helpful as well as the rest of the staff. The rooms were nice and clean, with a perfect view on the mountains. There was air conditioning in the room as well which was amazing. The food was nice, everything was very close to the property (beach, supermarket, bus station, info centre, markets) everything within 2 minutes of walk which was amazing. For the price we paid, we got an excellent service. We loved staying at the guest house and highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about staying. We couldn't imagine getting better service than this. A big thank you to the family/owners who made our stay exceptional.
