Great, well equipped cottage in a fairly remote location but central in the Golden Circle. We stayed 2 nights and saw the aurora both nights. Obviously we'll named. Very good communication from owners.

“Fabulous location, lovely cabin”
Great Location, easy to find if you follow the hosts directions. Great location for visiting all the sights on the Golden circle and elsewhere. Secluded enough for clear skies for Aurora spotting.

Wonderful place. Cottage is located in a peaceful area,no nighbors,just nature and beautiful views.It has everything you may need,kitchen is well equipped.Nice terrace with barbecue and amazing view.

I travel a lot, but I think I have never stayed in such a wonderful cottage. Everything was perfect. I definitely come back there. Silence, peace and sound of the whooper swans flying just somewhere above us.

This cottage was probably the best place we stayed in during our trip to Iceland. Very convenient location, right in the middle of the golden circle but still remote enough for you not to feel in the middle of the tourist confusion. The cottage itself is beautiful and super cozy. All made of wood from top to bottom. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another one with bunk beds. The bathroom was clean and quite large for the Icelandic standards. The kitchen had all the appliances needed and there was a large table in the dinning area. The living room was spacious and very comfortable. The owners even have a netflix account you can use as a guest of the property. Great touch that we truly appreciated. Bonus point: we got privileged views of the northern lights right at the doorstep of the cottage. If I ever come back to Iceland, I will look forward to rebook this place!

Clear, comfy and warm cottage with great interior, located in a great place without light pollution, we took really good Aurora shots here. Helpful kindly stuff, thanks to Snori, who show directions to cottage to us at late night. Very good choice for money.

Absolutely great location, close to popular places (Geysir, Gullfoss, þingvellir, ect.) but not on the main road. Beautiful view of Aurora if one manages to catch it. House was very clean, equipped with all necessary items and more. I definitely recommend if you need a place to stay on a Golden Circle.
