Tuncay is situated in Selçuk, a 1-hour drive from Izmir. It offers a courtyard with a mandarin tree and a large balcony with a fireplace and traditional Turkish seating areas. The simply furnished guest rooms are light and come with parquet floors. They are equipped with a private bathroom and fan. Guests can start the day by the courtyard fountain and enjoy a Turkish breakfast with tomatoes, olives and bread. During the season, fresh mandarins from the courtyard tree are served as well. After a busy day, the cushions and Turkish pillows on the balcony offer a relaxing setting to enjoy the sun or get some warmth from the fire. BBQ facilities are available for warm evenings. The Kusadasi Port is a 15-minute drive away from Tuncay. A free pick-up service from the Selcuk Bus Station, a 5-minute walk away, can be arranged anytime.

Super friendly team running the pension. We had to leave early for a bus and they were kind enough to organise breakfast for us a tad earlier. Very kind of them. Breakfast was outstanding!

“Wonderful stay in Selçuk”
The pension is right at the centre of Selçuk. Its atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. The host was really pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and more than enough.

“Really enjoyable stay in the heart of Selcuk at Tuncay Pension - great value for money”
I would have liked to stay a little longer but was only around for 2 nights. That said, I really enjoyed my time here. The host (Cuneyt) was really friendly, informative and sorted out an early morning taxi for me to Ephesus. The accommodation was what I expected in a hostel; the place was clean and the shower hot. The breakfast with coffee was just what I was hoping for and I don't think the location could have been any better with everything in and around the town of Selcuk being in easy walking distance. I happened to be there on a Saturday Market Day, so that was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I was lucky enough to be back in Turkey.

“Recommend Tuncay Pension in Selçuk”
We have stayed in this really nice pension on a number of occasions. Impressed by room upgrades which have taken place. Breakfast on the terrace is excellent. Owner is friendly, helpful and always on site. Location a short walk to town centre and bus stations. European tourists have more or less abandoned Turkey. Whilst the country has become more expensive, good value is still available. Tuncay Pension is one such place. Enjoy it, there is so much to see in Selçuk area.

“Everyone was fantastic. Cüneyd is just helpful, kind and compassionate.”
I arrived by hire car and Cüneyd arranged off street parking. I quickly realised that I had lost my passport. Cüneyd assisted (held my hand really) in contacting the previous hotel. It wasn’t located and I was panicking because I was flying out in two days. Cüneyd calmly sat down with me to help me work through options. And don’t even get me started on Cüneyd’s patience with me getting my car out of the parking…

Great place to stay. The staff is so nice and helpful. The best breakfast while in Turkey was served here. The beds are comfortable. The place is close to the bus/train stations and main attractions.

The breakfast at the pension was pretty small but very delicious. Adding to that all the personnel especially the owner were very nice and helpful to help with sightseeing. There's also a lot od very friendly cats that want to play.
