“A great place to stay for Ephesus with safe motorbike parking and A wonderful host”
What a welcoming place. The hotel is close to everything in Selçuk; 5 minutes to the Basilica entrance which includes the citadel and not much more to the Ephesus Archaeological Museum and town restaurants. The hotel owner gives an excellent briefing about Ephesus (start at the north gate) and restaurant recommendations which we enjoyed and concur with his choices. Breakfast is served to the table and was very good. The rooms are quite basically furnished but clean and comfortable and the shower was lovely and powerful. The curtains don’t block the light so if you need darkness, bring a mask. The pool is a real bonus. The hotel has a gated car park next door and was great parking for the motorcycles.

Lovely little hotel with a really helpful owner. He advised us to get to Ephesus at 8am to avoid the crowds - we had the place almost to ourselves for an hour which was wonderful. Lovely pool and garden, and a great breakfast.

“Fantastic!”
Everything. Nazar Hotel was the perfect place for us to stay for a couple of nights. The location was great and close to many restaurants, sights and also a 10 min walk from the train station. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Rooms also had great AC, which was needed for our 42 degree days. The swimming pool/outdoor area was a lovely little oasis that we definitely made the most of. Most importantly the owner and staff went out of their way to make our time in Selcuk amazing. We were given such good advice for everything! Loved our stay, would recommend to everyone.

The owner of the hotel was a more than perfect host to us and made sure we were well taken care of. Despite the fact we were stayjng only one night.He also gave us a lot of useful information about the place and how to travel from and to the airport. We really loved our stay here

“Perfect place to base yourself while exploring the many sights around Selcuk.”
It had a lovely vibe, the owners and staff were very friendly and gave lots of good suggestions for our visit. The pool was wonderful after a day of sightseeing in the heat. The location is great being walking distance to bus stations and restaurants.

Really friendly and welcoming owners, incredible Turkish breakfast each morning with a beautiful view over selcuk and the castle. Perfect for our stay in selcuk while we caught up with family, would definitely stay here again.

A small family run hotel with extremely good service helpful and informative advice. Ilker the owner pick us up from Izmir airport personally as he could not find a taxi on the public holiday.

A slightly eclectic family run hotel with a beautiful pool area, delicious and generous breakfast and genuinely lovely and friendly staff. Location is excellent. Pool and castle views are delightful and it is in close walking distance to all local sights, restaurants and shops. Ilker, the owner is very knowledgeable and accommodating and is very ready to assist with planning of any kind.

“Welcoming place in the heart of Selçuk”
We stayed at Hotel Nazar for 5 days and it was the best decision we made for our trip to Selçuk. Ilker and his family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They helped us plan our visit to Ephesus and other local monuments, and even recommended the best places to eat. The hotel is well located at a walkable distance to all services, restaurants and many manuments, the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure and hot water, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!
