Recently renovated, Kalehan is a long established family-run hotel built and landscaped in the style of an Ottoman inn using traditional materials and antique furniture just beneath the Byzantine Castle. Large collection of books are available for guests. All the rooms and the restaurant are surrounded by a large attractive garden with swimming pool. There are special rooms decorated with antiques and located in a separate building facing the beautiful rose garden.

The hotel is super cozy and very close to Ephesus as well as landmarks in Selcuk. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The territory is amazing. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Lovely gardens, ( with a healthy tortoise population! )clean pool ( with a castle view), free upgrade to a spacious room, excellent shower, tasty breakfast. Loved the decor.

Very friendly and very nice hotel. I had a room at the second building further away from the road . It was super quiet. The garden and the pool are very nice for a relaxing moment. AC was perfect.

Beautiful peaceful garden and nice pool even though right by the main road. Lively big bedroom and bathroom, tastefully decorated. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff.

“Friendly stay with wonderful food on the way to Ephesus”
The hotel is easy to reach and provides parking spaces. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The garden is very lovely with roses, a nice pool, and turtles wandering about. Dinner was delicious (local cuisine) and breakfast is not to be missed! The rooms are basic but comfy. Good bathroom. The hotel is close to Epesus though not walking distance. Close to the property you can see remains of an aqueduct and also St John Apostle Basilica.

“Very warm welcome, unique and stylish hotel”
This is a unique hotel with a comfortable and good style. We are on honeymoon and the staff looked after us , they made two swans with red ribbon and put rose petals on our bed. The food was excellent and staff helped our every need . Thank you and we will come back at some time .

“The hotel that surprised, in a good way”
While on the main road the rooms are at the back in a separate area, well away from the road. Pool area with bar and towels was just what we needed after our drive. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Aircon in our room was not working so owner called technician immediately. When it could not be fixed we were upgraded to another room. Breakfast was great, mostly made at the hotel so fresh and tasty

Wonderful ambience , clean, excellent breakfast… The strain of daily life melts away in their quiet and beautiful garden … They really helped me with an unfortunate logistical issue . I was so relieved to have them on my side .. It’s truely a lovely place … highly highly recommended.

“Restful garden sojourn in Selçuk”
Beautiful oasis amongst the busy streets of Selçuk. Garden set up for resting and reading - I loved the pink/ green loungers under the trees. With all the antiques and collectibles I could almost imagine we were on a 19C Grand Tour. Reasonable size bathroom - all tiled, took a while for the hot water to heat up. Breakfast was so delicious with fresh fruit and homemade jams. Pool was a bonus. Staff were very hospitable and able to organise taxis etc

“Great stay!”
Parked right outside. Luggage carried to our room. Large room, clean. Very friendly staff. Very approachable, brought drinks to us by the pool. Excellent evening meal, very fresh. Atmospheric, pretty hotel and grounds. 10 mins drive to Ephesus. Would highly recommend, wished we could have stayed more than 1 night.

It is a very peaceful place in the city. It is a family run hotel with great service, a beautiful garden, comfortable room and a good bathroom. From the classic music with the breakfast buffet until the good food in the cosy restaurant it was a pleasure to stay here.
