Comfortable and conveniently close to town centre and castle

The owner was wonderful. The location could not be better. As so many have mentioned the storks right across from the patio were the highlight of our stay.

Beautiful two story apartment overlooking castle. An added bonus was our balcony looked over onto a stork nest which had 3 baby storklings in. Just delightful! The beds were comfortable and our apartment had two shower/wc rooms. The shower rooms were lovely with a good shower in each. Ali and his family were very welcoming and were perfect hosts. They even showed us how to use the washing machine and supplied us with washing powder. The apartment is in a great location, just a short walk from the centre of Selcuk.

The host Ali was a very helpful and hospitable man. Met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and show us around and also invited us for a complimentary beer at his local shop and assisted us with directions for our future travels. Apartment was lovely, two rooms each with an ensuite, very clean and close to the town centre and bus stop for Ephesus! There is also a washing machine and dryer for use, free of charge!

The location is very convenient and near public transportation and attractions. There is a small kitchen in the suite and laundry set on the ground floor.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and everything was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the linens were crisp. The host, Ali, was welcoming: he showed us the rooms and explained everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We had a beautiful view of the old fortress from the window. Overall, it was a good option for a stay in Selçuk.

We met the host and his cousin and others... all so helpful and friendly. The apartment is just about as good as possible- a minute stroll to the castle entrance, and dolmus to Ephesus just around the corner. Much enjoyed the apartment- was practical to do our own cooking. Sugar/ tea/ coffee provided in the kitchen. I think it would be worth planning on a full day for Ephesus, a full day to visit nearby village of Sirince, and ideally at leas tone more day just to enjoy Selcuk and (if this one interests) the Mary's House site. Beautiful view from the balcony...

“Cosy apartments with a great view and exceptional hosts.”

This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Selcuk itself seems like a lovely place and Ephesus was well worth a visit, but what made the couple of days we spent there more special was the welcome that Ali, Marco and family gave us. They are exceptional hosts, and that personal touch made this place stand out from some of the others that we stayed in during our trip. We stayed two nights, but wish we had spent another couple there. The apartments we had were clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the castle, which is particularly beautiful when lit up at night. We had everything we needed, and the washing machine with detergent provided came in very handy. There's a mini-supermarket on the corner and plenty of food options just across the main road. Parking is not immediately outside, but only a very short walk away (around 50 to 100 metres) and Ali and Marco helped us carry all our stuff (and we had quite a bit) up to the apartment.

Ali’s place was perfectly located and close to everything we needed in Selçuk. Ali and his family were the perfect hosts, making sure we were comfortable, meeting us with the keys, letting us know about all the history of the area and giving us recommendations for all the best places to visit and eat. Ali also invited us for Turkish tea and coffee outside his shop - it was such a lovely highlight of our trip to Turkey. Our car ended up getting a flat tire, and Ali, Ennis and Marco all helped us contact the rental car company. Ali and his wife then invited us up to their terrace for a delicious, home cooked breakfast while we waited. We would highly recommend their apartments as a base for anyone who was looking for a place to stay in Selçuk.

“Lovely place to stay”

The room had a great view of the castle from the balcony. It was the studio apartment we booked and it was lovely and clean. There was free access to the washing machine and dryer and they even supplied the detergent. It’s little things like that that make you happy. Close to good coffee and to restaurants and shops.

Superb location, walking distance to Selcuk castle and downtown shops. Room was spacious and had washing machine.

“Great Central Selcuk Apartment”

The location was great being close to town for restaurants and the supermarket. It's a very convenient location to the Dolmus stop as well. It was easy to access Ephesus buses and the local sights were easy to walk to. Ali was a welcoming host who looked after us very well. It was so nice to chat to him and his brother. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to be able to sit and eat out on the balcony.

Great accommodation in a terrific location across from the lower archeological site, very close to both the town centre, the castle and basilica buildings and a short walk to The Temple of Artemis site. A few kms to the fantastic Ephesus ancient city site…..

The location is central to the town. It is easy to walk to various parts of the town. We found it a calm and peaceful town. The apartment is well fitted out. The beds are comfortable. The balcony is a great place to sit and eat and watch the passing parade. We felt very welcomed and well looked after by Ali and Gülgün. It was such a joy to meet them, and to experience their generous and kind hospitality. This personal connection really enriches the experience of travelling to a new place.

Ali and his family were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment is lovely with a small cooking area, dining and couch downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Toilet and shower on both levels. Outdoor deck on both levels. Amazing views of the Castle and aquaducts. Very close to St John's Church. Short 3 min walk to many restaurants and cafes. 10 minutes taxi to Ephesus Ancient sire entry. 5 minutes easy walk to Ephesus Museum. Ali gave recommendations for restaurants and cafes. He booked a taxi for us to go to the Ephesus Ancient site. We highly recommend this apartment
