Overview
Hotel Route-Inn Seki features rooms with free wired internet, a free buffet breakfast and a spacious public bath. It's a 5-minute taxi ride from Seki Station on Nagaragawa Railway's Etsumi-Nan Line. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from both Gifu prefecture’s Hyakunen Park and “Oze Ukai” cormorant fishing on the Nagara-gawa River. On-site parking is free. The hotel has a coin launderette and 2 free-use internet PCs. Dry cleaning and photocopying services are available at the front desk. Free coffee is available from 15:00-22:00 at the lobby. The complimentary breakfast buffet is served from 06:45-09:00 at Hanachaya, which becomes Japanese-style pub Hana-Hana-Tei serving drinks and light meals in the evening.

The new grand building is more spacious for the hallway. And, the breakfast room is quite comfortable with a great varieties for the breakfast. The car parking is free and with some restaurants beside in a walkable distance.

Ample parking lots. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Onsen was useful. Breakfast has sufficient variety and tasty but it will be better if they provide butter instead of margarine.

Room a little small for 2 person but manageable if you do not have big luggages. Room clean and comfy. Free coffee in the main lobby. Onsen was OK but not using natural hotspring water. Breakfast was delicious.

Nice and clean facilities. Rooms are bigger than expected. Breakfast wasn't very diverse but very tasty.

“Good hotel and location for cutlery festival”
Easy access to get to the cutlery festival, and relatively close walking distance to station. Room price included breakfast tickets, but I had other plans so am not able to comment on that

“Good location and comfy bed”
I stayed here en route and it was very convenient. I visited the Seki Sword Museum and several shrines in the area on foot from the hotel, only 10-15 minute walk. The car park was large and check-in was smooth and easy. The indoor onsen was small but clean and very welcome after a day driving. There was a code for the women's onsen which I was given at check-in and was very easy to use. The room was a decent size, quiet and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a small but delicious buffet.
