We stayed at the Olchani tents which were quite large and comfortable. We had a private vehicle for safari drives & Patrick, our safari guide was fantastic. He went above & beyond, & put in so much effort to make sure we spotted all wildlife. We tried our hand at archery at the resort - Brian provided great lessons. George looked after us well.

“Perfect safari experience”

Sarova Mara is a delightful destination. Everything is designed to make you welcome: the staff are pleasant and always helpful, the accommodation is luxurious (I’d recommend staying in an Olchani tent if you want more privacy, and even greater levels of care). The food is truly excellent (producing superb mushroom risotto or beef Wellington deserves applause anywhere), and the location within the park (but close to the gate) is ideal. In case you are booking from overseas, and unsure of the Sarova brand; don’t be. In fact, considering the room rate (booked on booking.com), what was included (all food and drink; laundry; etc, though I think that’s only for the Olchani tents) and how simple everything was I consider this stay to have been a bargain. And, of course, there’s the wildlife. Personal favourites: hippos, giraffe, gazelle… oh, all of it, really. If you are coming from Nairobi, be sure to ask the hotel to arrange a car to drive you (about 4 hours and USD 150 one way). Special shout-outs to Rolex (“butler”) and Edward who drove us around the park. Both pleasant and helpful.

Well what can we say. This was such an incredible trip and the staff at Sarova really make it. The attention to detail was second to none and really made it a trip to remember. A very Special thanks to Damaris for making our little boys trip so magical and also to all the staff there from security to cleaners everyone is amazing. We will definitely definitely be back.

“Exceeded our expectations”

We stayed in a club tent, and we loved that it was set away from the main accommodation, so it was a bit more quiet and secluded. Our room was beautiful with large bathroom facilities and allowed plenty of space to relax. We also had access to the Olchani Lounge, which overlooked the lake. The food was exceptional, and the staff were terrific. Everyone was attentive, and having stayed for 4 nights, the lounge staff knew my partner would be looking to enjoy a beer post afternoon safari each day. To celebrate a special occasion, my partner was also surprised with a cake on our final night, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Sarova and would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Incredible experience in a relaxed, happy environment!”

First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

“Exceptional game drive with Daniel !”

It is located next to the entrance inside the park, very green in the jungle, nice pool but not heated. The food is amazing, lot of choice and the Mama chef is taking care of you and all details to be perfect ! The kitchen staff is professional, friendly, funny and is making you feel welcome. We had the best game drive of the holidays with Daniel SOIT ! He is just exceptional.

The service was absolutely amazing, all the staff were lovely and took very good care of us! The club tent was incredible, so big and lovely bathroom with a tub and shower! The food was also out of this world!

My stay at Sarita Mara was absolutely fantastic! The beautifully maintained grounds and top-notch facilities created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The variety of activities made each day enjoyable and Matthias ensured my friends and I had an awesome time, while the welcoming and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience.

“A Magical Place in the heart of Nature”

We somehow booked the Club Tent (inclusive drinks and silver service)Wow! From the moment you walk in we were treated like royalty. The accommodation / location is amazing, but what really makes it special is the staff. The food prepared by the Chef’s Joseph & Stephen rivals any top restaurant. Our “Butler!!” Rolex was on hand for our every whim!! Would just like to thank the rest of the staff Doreen, Ole, Antony ,Dowdi, Kennedy, Joseph the pool Guru and all the other guys behind the scenes that made our trip so special. This really is a magical place.

“Must stay place within Masai Mara”

Very warm and kind people manning the Camp, from housekeepers to Reception. Excellent spread and sumptuous Breakfast. Superb people running the show in Dining Area, even interns were full of Enthusiasm. Well maintained Swimming pool and overall a superb camouflaged accommodation in midst of vast wilderness. Amazing sitout at Bar, splendid evening show, awesome Mini Club to wind down in evening from Club Tent, Their team hasn't left any stone unturned to make it more memorable than Safari as well.

Place was awesome - it is well located, staff was nice and facilities are pretty comfortable.

“Mass market safari camp”

The camp is close to the main gate so easy to access. The staff at the restaurant is very kind (expecially Daisy) and the food is good.

a very well maintained large spread out property on a small hill with dense jungles all around.every tent has its own different view.has pool table, table tennis, mini golf ,volley ball for after hours relaxation and is very well suited for families with children since it is also fenced all around Buffets have somethig for everyne including us vegetarians. The best part if the staff who are all excellent and eager to help. My safari guide , Edward, was incomparable who knew all the places to show us the wildlife: an extremely pleasant professional and its becuase of him that we could see a rhino, all alone with none around, for close to 2 hours before we moved off. The tent are netted but one can view all around.. all have beautiful views and mine looked out into a part of the savannah which from morning on, lying on my bed i could see zebras, wilderbeest, antelopes, buffallo and baboons roaming about. Their balloon safari was truly a great experience; the pilot Mani?, a South African was entertaining with his wild humor and saw quite a lot .
