Amanda was the perfect host and made us feel at home from the beginning. She gave a history of the village and recommended one of the nicest restaurants we've ever experienced. The property is totally unique, as is the village. Superb choice for breakfast - just wish we had room for the waffles! The reserved parking space was a great help.

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. The bedroom was a good size and the bed & pillows were comfy. A very good selection for breakfast, and the owner Amanda was extremely helpful.

The hospitality we received was absolutely first class. The dinner Amanda provided for us on such short notice was nothing more than amazing, for two hungry cyclists. Will definitely be back, probably the best hospitality I have ever received.

Highly attractive historic building in a perfect central location next to a meandering river with its small flood plain in Segur-le-Chateau. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we stayed though the owner kindly booked us a table in an excellent nearby restaurant with views directly over the river and medieval village. The bedroom and breakfast area were clean and contained all facilities, the area was quiet and the ancient village and chateau were stunningly beautiful. Overall our one night stay-over was excellent, in part because of the of the excellent food, friendly staff (and cats) and good value of La Part des Anges restaurant.

Such an unexpected pleasure to have found this remarkable hotel in the best position in the village of Segur le Chateau. Amanda our hostess was kind and thoughtful and the breakfast was first rate. Do not miss her banana pancakes! We were just sorry that we had only booked one night and would love to return and explore this beautiful area more.

The welcome was very pleasant and warm. The room was large and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was a very good selection of meats, breads and cheeses. The hostess was informative and obviously cares for her hotel and her customers.

“Amazing relaxing stay”

We were lucky to arrive on the day of the summer fair (each monday in july/august) which was a lot of fun! The town was beautiful and the hotel was great. Very very kind hostess who took great care of us and prepared a great breakfast. Would highly recommend!
