Overview
Situated at the beginning of a pedestrian zone, Hotel Hocheder features an own wellness area and offers rooms with a flat-screen cable TV. Typical Austrian dishes can be sampled at the on-site restaurant. The Gschwandtkopf Ski Area is only 400 metres away. All rooms come with a minibar and a bathroom with a hairdryer, amenities and a shower or a tub. Some rooms have a balcony. The superior rooms also feature a sofa bed and a seating area. The hotel is surrounded by a garden with a terrace offering views of the Karwendel and the Wetterstein Mountain Ranges. Guests can relax in front of the fireplace at the bar. Each morning a breakfast is served. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The spa area, comprising of a sauna, a steam bath, a solarium and massage rooms, is open to all guests. Hotel Hocheder is directly accessible from the slopes. A ski storage room is provided on site. The Olympic Centre is next to the property and the lake is nearby. Cross-country skiing trails and hiking trails pass 20 metres away. A ski bus stops in front of the hotel and the Rosshütte and Geigenbühel ski areas are within 600 metres. 25 min taxi (65 Euros) from Innsbruck Airport. Accessible via train or Bus. A Great Hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff, Excellent Location, Walking distance (8 mins) to Gschwandtkopf ski hire, ski lift & ski bus stop. An excellent stay, an abundance of skiing for beginner and intermediate skiers. The resort is basic but has everything you will need, a family friendly town.

The location is amazing, less than a minute from the ski area. It is a small hotel owned by a lovely family, the members of which are always present to make sure the guests are being taken care of.

Beautiful authentic Austrian hotel. Comfortable beds and good size rooms. Excellent location. The waiter staff tried to make our stay pleasant and they were kind and friendly even though some could not speak English. The cleaning staff were very good and efficient.
