Our wine cellar is cared for and managed with dedication, it offers a fine selection of fine wines. “A delightful surprise.”
Hostess was extremely friendly and spoke English, although was relieved when we spoke Italian. Our room was upgraded so had a balcony and views across the valley. 15 miles from Andermatt, the scenery was lovely. The restaurant was as full of locals as this is their game season and the menu reflected the locally sourced products. As a vegetarian I was a little worried but they had catered for this and the meal was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel and restaurant to future travellers.

“Friendly staff and cosy stay”
Excellent hotel with a comfortable room and a lovely balcony. We were allowed to park our motorbike in a secure garage and the greeting was warm and friendly. Really quiet room, and a sufficient breakfast. We also ate dinner in the evening in the restaurant and the food was superb and again, the staff were professional and attentive. Great ambience in the hotel and would recommend/stay again

Like many reviewers of Hotel Posta, the Breakfast is good which is important when skiing. On offer in winter is a buffet comprising 3 different cereals, plus porridge, fruit, a number of different breads, natural yoghurt, nutella and other spreads, honey, boiled eggs, cheeses, hams, prosciutto, salami, coffee, tea orange juice, apple juice, water. A good range, continuously replenished. In addition the hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves high quality evening meals including vegetarian options. Complimenting this are Cheese board, deserts and a very broad wine list including good local wine and also local beer (meaning real ale/ craft beer). Our room was sizeable with comfortable beds, a good size bathroom and powerful shower. It was also diligently cleaned every day. Last but not least were the staff. They made the real difference. They were genuinely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay because we were looked after and made to feel very welcome. We were quite sad to leave. Further important information that may help you... The ski fields are dispersed, you can ski between most subject to snow and weather conditions. However the road between Andermatt and Dieni is closed in Winter. It's best to use the train. Train tickets for 5 days or longer are available from the Dieni ski lift station. Its about 1 mile from the hotel (easy walk/drive). The tickets enable travel between Andermatt and Disentis and all the stops in-between which allows you to travel between ski fields easily if the connecting lifts are not working or your feeling tired. The nearest train station to the hotel is called Reuras, its a 10 minute walk uphill from the hotel and is served regularly. If you have an epic pass then you can get an unlimited pass covering Andermatt, Sedrun, Disentis ski fields. You can get this at Dieni ski lift station. Switzerland uses a different 3 pin plug from most of Europe. You will need an adapter.

Love the hotel room we stayed in. Everything was clean, bed was pretty comfy, they had everything i needed - a hair dryer, a big bin which I like, lots of storage space for my things. It was at a very reasonable price as well.

“Comfortable stay at Hotel Posta”
We had a free upgrade so our room was bigger than we expected. A lovely warm welcome from our hosts who very happily shared information if asked. The village itself is a picture postcard with access to some great Swiss passes like the Susten, Furka etc. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the morning breakfast.
