“Best last-minute decision ever!”

We ended up at this place completely by chance and were absolutely blown away! We booked last minute because it was right along our route, and it turned out to be the best decision we could’ve made. The apartment was spotless and perfectly tidy, and the setting is beautiful - a true green oasis where you can actually relax. Peace, quiet, and such a pleasant atmosphere. Parking is available right in front of the property so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were especially delighted by the cold water waiting for us in the fridge upon arrival. All the staff are incredibly kind, always smiling, and ready to help. Communication was excellent from the first message all the way to check-out. The on-site restaurant is amazing - the food is outstanding, we haven’t eaten this well in ages! Everything fresh, tasty, and perfect portions. The waiter completely won us over, so warm and cheerful. With staff like that, even a bad day turns good. We felt completely at home. Highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back - even if it’s just “on the way” again!

Nice location overlooking the fields with olive trees and vineyards. Spacious bathroom. Good breakfast with variety of food. Friendly owners. Hotel has its own restaurant with delicious food but cooking takes a long time (at least in our case).

A beautiful location and spacious family room! Sat outside at night as restaurant closed playing cards with the children. Breakfast was lovely and staff very approachable

“Not worth the money”

Unfortunately I agree with some of the other low rated reviews of this hotel. Breakfast is very, very elaborate but they don’t usually fill what’s finished. An extra star for service for the lady at breakfast, she is very sweet and helpful asking all the time if we needed anything else and when I asked for a drying rack, it appeared in our hallway later that day.

We left Gold Istra with our hearts filled with love and our bellies filled with incredible food from the restaurant. Truly a stay to remember. Also, a big thank you to the lady of the breakfast. She has such an inspiring, happy and helpful energy that made both our mornings feel like the best start of the day we could ever imagine. Hospitality at its finest. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and homemade.

“Nice to play to stay on a holiday”

The location is great and very nice - for a relaxed holiday break. The property is reachable either by car or taxi. Using public transport could take you more time. Break is good, while very less vegetarian option.

The breakfast was delicious and the evening meals in the restaurant were so so good. The front of house staff in the morning, was particularly welcoming and hospitable and always had a smile on her face. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms + the toilet were very very clean

The staff are amazing, very helpful and respond quickly when needed. They are also very cooperative. Check in was smooth. Location is excellent and a parking slot is available directly in front of the apartment. Wifi was excellent. Highly recommended and will come again for sure.

The mountain side view from the garden was nice and the garden was kept well, looked exactly like in the photos. Fortunately in almost no time you could go to Istria by car through the Croatian border to their motorway if you want explore the peninsula. Koper is really close by car and all the main seaside cities like Portoroz, Izola, Piran are in a convenient distance by car if you want to enjoy the Slovenian Adrian sea. Even if you want to visit Italy, thanks to the motorway in Koper it takes almost no time to be in Trieste. I liked the food and the coffee at breakfast, had to restrain myself to not eat them out of their wealth. The staff members were really friendly, helpful and pleasant people. Even if I arrived at late night after a long trip I was able find a parking spot. The Wifi signal was good and stable, and the big screen TV served well during my stay.
