Overview
This historical Hotel was built when Seaview was founded in 1882. The Enchanted Cottages by the Sea has a long history of being the place to stay for your beach vacation. Originally built to accommodate the Locomotive captains of the railroads that 1st arrived in Seaview in 1881, we have been hosting guests for over 140 years. Nestled just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, shops, and next door to some of the best restaurants on the coast. All Cottages are Dog Friendly. Featuring a newly remodeled two-bedroom cottage, Serendipity Cottage boasts a Helix Midnight King bed, jacuzzi jetted tub, fireplace and is filled with plenty of coastal influence with its original wood aesthetics and original Antique Stained-glass windows. Our other three cottages each have a unique theme offering a relaxing and comfortable stay. Captain’s Cottage honors the Chief Steward S.R. that owned the property in 1926. This nautical themed cottage has artistic painted mural in the kitchen, claw foot soaking tub and other antique furnishing. Our other two cottages bolster coastal charm, comfort and warm tones. The Sandpiper studio is our smallest cottage. It may be small in space but is big in personality, includes a Queen Serta I-motion lift bed, kitchenette and en-suite bath. The Hollyhock Cottage is our 420 square foot one bedroom with full kitchen, living room with sleeper and full bath with eclectic beach decor, warm tones and plenty of coastal charm. Additional amenities include Pet Friendly, locally fresh roasted Long Beach coffee, variety of flavored creamers, local saltwater taffy, comfortable mattresses, Roku streaming with 200+ live TV channels and 1000'S of movies, free WIFI, filtered water, board games, beach towels and antique decorations. Outdoor common area includes covered seating under the gazebo, other outdoor seating and tables with large sun umbrellas. Don't forget to play a fun game of ring toss and cornhole, a bean bag toss game, and sit beside our outdoor firepit. (seasonal) Flowers, local plants, birds abode the gardens around the property. North Jetty Brewery is just a block away, Fort Columbia State Park is just 15 km away. Cape Disappointment State Park is 10 minutes’ drive from Enchanted Cottages by the Sea. Self-Check-In Hotel, designated parking, bath towels, beach towels and fresh linens are provided in all Enchanted Cottages by the Sea.

Loved my stay here! Super cozy, and cute decorating, the bed was comfortable and the space heaters were awesome! Nice kitchen with coffee maker and coffee, cookies and chocolate were a nice treat, hot water, plush towels, quiet and easy to access. Netflix. I would stay here again!

Queen Studio
Studio with a Kitchenette named "Sandpiper" cottage. At 210 sq. ft. Sandpiper may be small but it is huge on charm and all you need for a cozy stay! Nestled & tucked away in the far back corner, Sandpiper cottage has Eclectic beach themed decor. This studio has a queen mattress with a Serta Imotion adjustable lift bed that is great for relieving snoring or just for watching TV or reading a book. It features a full bathroom & the kitchenette includes, coffee, mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, dishes, toaster & coffee pot. No oven, stove top or hot plate. The room also includes a reading lamp, a 36" TV, ROKU streaming, WIFI, a dresser with games and extra blankets, a little dining area and plenty of charm for a 210 sq. foot cottage. This unit has one door to enter the building and then two doors when you step inside. It has a small hallway, one door is our laundry facility that is staff only, and the other door is Sandpiper. You may see staff going in and out of the building for laundry but your unit is Private. Low ceiling height on 6'11", ground floor unit. Pet Fee of $40 per stay. Only 2 dogs allowed under 25 pounds or 1 dog under 80 pounds unless you ask for special approval, additional fees may apply. Message us if you are bringing dogs. All dogs must be declared before arrival.
Queen Studio (max. 2 people)
Known as the "Captain's Cottage", sleeping a maximum of 2 adults, this upstairs nautical-themed cottage has a full galley kitchen for light cooking, an electric fireplace, antique furniture and decor, hard wood bamboo and tile floors. The ceiling height is 7'2" in this 1926 cottage, with slanted ceilings in parts of the bathroom and kitchen decreasing ceiling height. Low clearance and space between the toilet and soaking tub. Old world charm and construction at it's finest. A antique claw foot tub is offered in the en-suite bathroom. It also includes free WiFi, Blu-ray/DVD player and ROKU streaming 200+ live tv channels and 1000's of movies . Adults only in this cottage due to the many antique items. Please note: This cottage is accessible by stairs only and no standup shower, but soaking tub does have a handheld shower head for washing and bathing. Low ceiling clearance in bathroom. Pet Fee of $40 per stay. Only 2 dogs allowed under 25 pounds or 1 dog under 80 pounds unless you ask for special approval, additional fees may apply. Message us if you are bringing dogs.
