W pulled into the parking lot and saw it was basically a crack house. Didn't even check in and they won't refund me.

After a week long battle and MULTIPLE hours on the phone, email and back and forth waiting game between Booking.com and I, I was finaly able to change the date of my reservation… This experience with Booking.com was definitely testing and I will never book with them EVER again. The lobby had a very intense cigarette smell. I arrived with my service dog and the lady at the front desk was very combative with me. She was waving a laminated Washington state service dog law in my face, telling me that my dog was an emotionnal support animal and not a service dog, even thought I showed her my Canadian government issued ID, clearly stating that my dog is a service dog. She went on to tell me that we were in Washington state (as if I was not already aware…) and asked me what her tasks where, what disease or need I had and all sorts of personnal details about my life. I felt harassed and it was very unpleasant to check in. After at least 20 minutes, she finaly agreed to let me dog in and we were able to get the heck out of that ashtray smelling room and made our way into our rented suite. Once inside, the room looked like from the 80’s with absolutely no updates, even the fridge had a fake wood finish and a chrome handle, which looked like it was straight out of a Chevy chase movie. I fully understood right there and then why this motel was the cheapest in all Seattle area. The bathroom had stains and the tub needed a caulking job, but mostly the entire place was desperate for a 2024 paint refreshment. There was a little frosted window leading to who knows where that had some annoying light behind it. The bedside table lamps had no USB ports in them which is a very common courtesy in hotels nowadays, but since we were in the 80’S in there, I guess I should feel thankful there was no rotary phone on my bedside table. Thank god I was super tired when I got there in the evening, I was able to finaly sleep after a 38 hour train ride from Los Angeles. I will never return again.

I called several times and no one picked up the main office phone. The manager was rude and disrespectful. I am a school social worker and had booked a single mom and her twin 4 mo olds a room for the night because they were kicked out of housing. The manager would not let them stay because they didn’t have a credit card. I offered to show up with my credit card within 5 min. She was so rude and disregarded the circumstances. I will be reporting this to the city.

There was no breakfast but there was decent coffee and tea. The hotel is on a busy road and a sleazy part of town. I paid $200 which was a total rip off. I should have done a better job of screening places to stay but I needed something at the last minute.

Not overly busy, out of the hustle and bustle of the city, within a ten minute drive of large shopping mall and iceoplex (ice hockey stadium). The property was very comfortable for our one night stay.
