Gigi and his wife were brilliant hosts and helped us with all queries during our stay. The location of the property is excellent and was a very comfortable place to spend a few days.

“Ideal flat in the old town”

The flat is in the old town of Scicli. It’s modern and spacious. We were 2 people, but is perfect for 4 too. You can see 2 beautiful churches from the window. You can park without any fee in front of the house. The flat is very well located, ideal to discover the town. Gigi, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. if we ever return to this wonderful city, we will definitely stay here again

We really love the town of Scicli and have visited many times. This apartment is ideally located , is brand new and we were very satisfied with it . The roof top terrace in the evening was particularly nice. Free parking nearby was always available.

The host was quick to respond to any queries, and on site quickly when we had a small problem with a key. Super helpful with places to see and where to eat, clearly loves his town and region.

The apartment is modern and great, as is the owner. Everything exceeded our expectations. Overall, it is the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2-week trip in Sicily. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Perfect place to explore Scicli. The apartment was spotless, it's easy to park your car and very close to the center of the town. Would definitely stay here again!

Scicli is quite cool place to stay: easy to reach, easy to navigate, easy to relax. Not too big to overwhelm you, not too small to bore you. Really fine for a day with delicious lunch and fine dinner and a nice piece of history. But above all this is not so frequented city (unlike Ragusa, Siracuse etc.) and so it is perfect base to get to all places of interest of southeast Sicily. Re Barocco - Baroque King house is on perfect spot, in small piazza on the edge of the downtown. It means there is no problem with free parking nor day or night, by the way. Very intersting is the fact, that every window, balcony and rooftop terase have view at least on one of the three marvelous churches, two of them open every day also for a Saint Mass (worth of visit for sure). Last but not least: The real asset of this accomodaton is the landlord. Always ready to help and advice. Gigi, polite and caring has made our stay real experience. Grazie mille. ❤🇮🇹

What a fantastic place this was, great views from the balcony! Enjoyed every minute! Also fantastic that the host 'reserved' a parking spot for us, useful as parking in these towns is challenging!

Honestly the apartment ( or actually a small house) exceeded our expectations by far. The house is beautifully restored from the outside with keeping the historical look and the interiors are modern. All seems like brand new, you can feel the high quality materials, especially the wooden doors and windows left an impression. The top terrace must be a blast in the summer..... All super clean. Gigi is a great host and recommended very good places for food. We have considered to prolong the stay actually due to the high comfort, but due to timepressure, we had to move on to see more of the beautiful Sicily... next time I would not hesitate to book for longer and use this house as a base for exploring the surrounding cities and sea.

Beautiful property and the host Gigi went out of his way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. He sent us a picture of the bus timetables when we got there and even offered to take us to the bus stop when we left. The property has everything that you need and is very central to all the main sights in Scicli with lots of great restaurants nearby.

We were a family of 5, Gigi was waiting for us at the apartment, he showed us around and gave us first hand information about the area. The apartment is within walking distance to Scicli centre and within walking distance to interesting places. One can park easily on the same street.The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchenette had all that one needs, clean bathroom and a terrace. We highly recommend Re Barocco Centro Storico and would love to go back.

Everything ☺️ The host Gigi is a very nice, welcoming person. The apartment is located in the city center. Below you can park your car and it is free of charge. The apartment has everything you will need during the vacation- fully equipped kitchen, living room and two slipping rooms. Those rooms have a balcony but upstairs there is an additional terrace. Totally recommend!
