The apartment is spacious, kitchen equipped with utensils, walkable from city centre. Very lovely host that treated us to biscuits and ice cream from his patisserie. They made sure that we felt very welcome and well taken care of.

“Beautiful B&B in Scicli”

This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever seen, if I could give 15 out of 10 I would. The property is beautiful and the owner is a great person. You pick up the keys from Antonio at his Bakery Dolceria Modicana about 100 meters up the street . You get a message with these details. Remember it is closed from 12 to 3pm . He will show you the property and then give you pastries from the shop and ice creams later in the day. For breakfast he gives you another tray of pastries. He does not speak English , but his 2 daughters work at the shop and they do. Just a amazing place. About 15 min walk from the train station and 10 mins from the centre of town. Scicli is beautiful

We loved everything about our stay! Antonio went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to "leave a sign" (as he put it when he was giving us more and more delicious sweets from his store every day). Casa Aruci Sweet Home looks exactly like in the pictures but the hospitality of Antonio exceeded all our expectations -- it just has to be experienced. He is such a hard-working man, creating delicious sweet wonders in his laboratory from morning till night, and yet he always takes time to talk to you, explain what you are about to taste (there is something new on the breakfast menu every day!), what it is made of and so on. He also gives you tips where to eat in Scicli (Quore Matto is a must!), where to park, and which towns and beaches to visit. Thank you for everything, Antonio! You have made our vacation in Sicily really special, and I hope we will be able to come back soon!
