“Spectacular family-run boutique apartments in a historic town”

This small boutique apartment-hotel is situated in a set of tastefully refurbished old homes in the quaint little town of Scicli. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, s sauna, and a lovely terrace. The owners were fantastic, they helped us with finding places to eat and recommending places to go with children. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Scicli and Borgo Hedone is unique. Once in a while you are just lucky and find a great and beautiful place. On top of that you are lucky to find the perfect accommodation. Add great people like Jennifer and Ian at Borgo Hedone and you have a perfect vacation. From booking until leaving we had personal contact and advise about everything from facilities at the hotel, transfer, parking, restaurants, shopping and nice places to visit in and around Scicli. It was as if we where the only guests. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely come back.

“Great place”

The property is absolutely unique: quaint houses in a labyrinth of small streets with stunning architecture, set on the cliffs of the town. The apartment was really cosy and the hosts were extra helpful with everything we needed. Of course the highlight is the pool on the terrace (for which we got extra towels - really useful).

The property is perched up on this beautiful hill overlooking the city. It has a beautiful rooftop garden with a pool with amazing views. The accommodation is so cute and practical and the staff is simply amazing and attentive. We came with 2 kids and just had the best time! Highly recommend it! The communication was excellent throughout the stay

The hotel is in a central location just off the main square. Our terrasse had the most beautiful view of the old town. Scicly is not very touristy, yet within easy reach of Ragusa, Modica, Noto and Syracuse. There are some fantastic restaurants in the town and several great beaches are also close-by. We found it the perfect place to stay.

Amazing, charming place. Area is incredible itself, and is in good location (basically in the old town). Friendly and helpfull staff.

The location ist great! It's even prettier in real life than in the photos. Jennifer was a great host and gave plenty of good reccomondations for places in and around Scicli. We loved it there and would come back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful site, great location in the historical part of Scicli. Jennifer was an amazing host, giving us an informative tour of the Borgo Hedone and additional hints where to go and what to visit. She made the stay complete and memorable.

Beautiful property

“A fabulous stay in beautiful Scicli”

I was visiting Scicli for an orchestral course and found this gem of a place to stay. Everything about it was absolutely perfect. I stayed in Papyrus, a three storey "house", which was spacious and comfortable. The air-con was really effective and so essential on some scorching Sicilian days. I loved the quirky setup of the accommodation, with the various gardens and terraces offering splendid views over Scicli. The location was very central, and yes, about 60 steps up (or a fairly steep hill), but that justified consuming all the Cannoli and other sweet delights on offer in this charming town. I loved the beautiful pool and made good use of this during my 9 night stay. Best of all for my stay was Alessia, the manager. Wow! What a totally fabulous lady she is. Could not do enough to help me: arranging things, such as booking tables at restaurants and sharing information and advice. She was wonderful!! I'm sad to have left, as I felt so at home, but I'm certain I will be back. A wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Great unique location in the heart of old city – quiet, beautiful. Very spacious rooms + kitchen and a garden with a fantastic view! Great, helpful and friendly host, who carry about your every need. A lot of restaurants/café around – 15 min to the sea by car. Also, there is a swimming pool, but we prefer the sea.:)

Unbelievable"Hotel". Fantastic renovation of old structures/apartments.. Hard to tell where the town ends and where the hotel begins. Very curated external areas, beautiful garden and two small pools, one overlooking Scicli. Located in the old town right next to the church of San Bartolomeo, within easy reach of all sites, restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a unique experience and not a standard hotel, this is the place.

The location was great - an easy walk to the centre of Scicli. It is a beautifully restored building with lots of character. The manager was incredibly helpful, booking restaurants for us and giving us lots of advice on where to visit. Nothing was too much trouble and she was available via WhatsApp all the time.
