Grate location. Quite, but at the same time not far from old town. Nice walk to and back. Saunas are a good addition. Friendly personnel.

The hotel is located at about 10mins walking distance from the old town and walking distance to the castle. It is directly in the shore of the lake. It is a extreme beautiful and peaceful location. Super nice views from the room towards the lake. The hotel was a very good restaurant (ate there both nights). Breakfast was your standard buffet. If I ever have to go to Schwerin again, I will definitely stay there.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful location on the lake, with private terrace for sunbathing and swimming. Drinks beside the lake in the evening. Fantastic breakfast. Ample private parking behind the hotel. Spacious room with modern bathroom. Friendly staff. About 20 mins walk into town.

“Great location, very scenic while close to the city”

The location was good, not far from the center and in front of a lovely lake. The staff was very friendly, with varying level of English, but very willing to take their time so we could communicate as we spoke only some basic German. The room was wide and the bathroom very nice. The hotel restaurant is lovely.

What a pleasant surprise. Loved the design. Great to learn a bit about the original purpose of the building and how it was converted into the current hotel. This information could however be placed a bit more prominent. Very nice, comfortable and large rooms. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was really good, not huge choice but covers all wishes and almost all products are BIO which does make the taste really good. Location for us was very important and we wanted something very close to water. It was walking distance (around 15-20min) to city and castle. Room was clean and good size.
