Excellent location, comfortable and good-sized rooms, delicious breakfast, helpful staff, lots of nice touches. Close to the city and the castle. This hotel will be at the top of our list of locations!

Great location, short distance to the castles and town of Fussen. Amazing spa facilities and the breakfast and lunch were an absolute delight. Very nice room and lots of nice outdoor space. Friendly staff.

A comfortable hotel with a lovely view of Neuschwanstein castle from our room. The location was good. The highlight was the restaurant! We enjoyed the excellent breakfast and a lovely evening meal. Both were one of the best we had in our 5 weeks in Europe.

Breakfast and evening meals were all to a high standard with plenty of variety. Let the staff know in advance and they will get what you want. Room was just right, kettle, ironing board and iron provided at request.

“Lovely hotel in Schwangau”

The hotel can be easily reached by bus from Fussen Bahnhof. It is clean, bed is comfortable and the buffet breakfast is very good. The bus stop is 5 minutes away on foot. The bus takes you to the castles. They provide a guest card which gives you free bus transport in the vicinity. It is quiet at night.

Great stay! Amazing staff and super great breakfast and facilities. Sauna is working on a great schedule so you have time to enjoy it after a day at the castle, you can make yourself a tea there (close to the sauna which is at the basement). Breakfast has plenty vegetarian options but not many vegan.

Traditional bavarian, mountain-like hotel, extremely cozy, tidy and squeky clean everywherer. Felt like home and fairytale ladscape all around

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and gave us loads of advice and information about the area. I didn't realise there is spa treatments and bike rentals here. The room had a balcony with chairs overlooking the mountains. One of our rooms had a direct view of neushweinstein. The breakfast had lots of great options. The bathroom was especially nice and seem newly renovated. I would have liked to stay longer as the area was beautiful.
