Located just 3 km from the city of Füssen, Haus Alpenrose offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Bavarian countryside. There is free Wi-Fi internet available throughout the property. Thank you to our host for a wonderful stay. The property is within easy walking distance of the main areas of sightseeing. Great kitchen facilities that we used for cooking breakfast and dinner with all necessary utensils and pots and pans provided. Rewe supermarket is 30 minutes walking distance. Balcony is nice place to sit in the evenings.

The location of the apartment and facilities in the apartment are excellent! All the required kitchen appliances are available with great quality. There are detailed instructions and helpful information to make the stay convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking space is on the property and spacious.

“Great place for mountain hiking”
Location is amazing, just around 20 minutes walk from Hochenschwangau where you can go hiking in the mountains, swim in the lake, eat in a restaurant or go to Schloss Neuschwanstein. It's far away enough to avoid the crowds though. There was basic kitchen equipment and bathroom stuff, enough for short stay. There's parking available next to the house. Owner was super nice and friendly too

The property is in an optimal location to visit the Castles and within walking distance of the closest bigger city (Füssen). It is a lovely-sized room with a kitchen included. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time!

“Cute guest house in a perfect location for visiting Hohenschwangau and its castles”
The host was very communicative and told us how to find our key in the lock box and where to park. As our studio apartment was on the ground floor it was easy to access with all our bags. A small, but cosy and well equipped apartment with a large double bed, separate bathroom and tiny kitchenette (with everything you would need to prepare a meal). It was a bit cool and damp on arrival but this didn't really bother us as the weather was warm outside. The location was excellent for visiting Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles (25 minute walk along a lovely path or a 5 minute drive/bus ride). We received a guest card as part of our stay and this provided free transportation on the local bus as well as other discounts which we didn't use. The room was quiet and we were never disturbed by other guests in the building or traffic on the nearby road.

Great location, just 30 minutes walk from town, not much further from castles. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with lovely garden outside to sit and have tea on a sunny day. Good parking space. The owner we met was nice and helpful.

Location. Free parking space. Easy lock box check in. Comfortable bed. Kitchenette. Plenty of hot water. Studio a little small but had everything you needed. Housekeeping checked with us that everything was Ok which was nice.
