“Fantastic location in the black forest”

The level of decoration, furnishing, and objects d'art are top notch. The staff and owners cannot do enough for you to make your stay the best it can be. The breakfast is amazing and sets you up for the whole day. They are motorcycle friendly and this is not stated on the website, the bikes are garaged so you have peace of mind. When I go back I will stay there again.

The main goal for the trip was to take a hike to the waterfalls with my dog. This accomodation was situated just on a perfect hike distance from the waterfalls and we also got a guestcard that allowed us to easily use the bus into and back from the "center". The host of the accomondation is an extremely kind and welcoming woman. She was very helpful and really has a warm attitude agains the guests. We really felt warmly welcome there. The room was very clean and so was the whole building and garden too. The breakfast was really tasty and very beautifully organised. We had a very pleasant stay!

“Quirky and comfortable.”

The guest house is located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the small town in a residential area. Upon arrival we had to phone the number on the door and the lovely host appeared two minutes later from a house across the street. The property is very well presented, with a small lounge area and large terrace for guests. There are colourful metal sculptures all over the place. Our room was the apartment up on the top floor. It was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a continental breakfast on steroids, with more choice than you could wish for. The lady that runs the hotel is wonderful and more than happy to help, even letting me park my motorcycle in her own garage for the two nights of our stay. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but there is a fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks operated on an honesty system chargeable at check-out. We ate at the Pizzeria in town (it was the only place open on a Monday) but it serves more than just pizza and was very good indeed.

lovely friendly staff and a great buffet continental style breakfast. Great location for accessing the Triberg Waterfalls as you can approach directly from the hotel via. nice 2KM walk and then get the local shuttle bus back up the hill to the hotel. A nice quiet and clam location on the outskirts of Triberg.

Very welcoming place. Spacious room, including a sitting area with armchairs and a coffee table. The room was located on the lower ground floor, below the entrance, but had a French window that opened onto a garden view (see attached photo). Excellent breakfast. At the bottom of the stairs leading to the room was a well-stocked refrigerator with water and various beverages. Although there were language barriers—we only spoke Italian and English, and the owner only German—the owner was extremely kind, giving us suggestions for dinner and places to visit the next day, and even chatting about us and the trip we were taking. A truly sweet person!

A really nice little family run hotel at the end of a quiet road with a short walk through a park to the centre of the village. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast selection was huge and presented immaculately. Comfortable room with a small balcony and there is also a large outdoor patio area to sit with a drink and admire the view across the hills.

Location was very peaceful, I slept really well. Lady at the reception very friendly and nice. Breakfast good quality. Facilities very good- I stayed at the apartment. I also liked the small robotic landmowers at the backyard. 😁

“Beautiful place in Schonwald”

The owners are kind and very friendly people and we communicted well, even though we do not know German and they know little English. They let us use their garage to park our motorbike. The hotel is well kept, clean and spacious. The breakfast was exceptional! Great restaurant offering traditional food around 15 minutes away on foot. The place is ideal for walks to Triberg and to explore Schonwald.
